Thanks, I make these so I can have something to walk to on the treadmill when I am at home without all the comments. It really helps me enjoy walking at home.

Very nice video. Thank you for showing all tent sites. I see a very nice place to camp..

Thanks, I try to make these helpful for everyone, Sometimes the tent sites are too far remote to show.

I agreee with another viewer. This is very very helpful to get a good understanding about the campsites. Sometimes it is such a mystery as to what you might get but you are providing a great overview of what to expect. Thanks.

I started posting these videos because I have had some problems selecting sites. I want to make it easier and more enjoyable, unfortunately its only me so the walkthroughs are limited to places we visit. Glad I could help.

it's a nice place but now it's taken over by the party crowd. I stayed here 3 nights last week (Sept 10-13, 2024) and it was HELL. Campers in B-3 were making so much noise, and were yelling and screaming between 5 and 6am. Constantly played w their car alarm. The last 2 nights there they began playing their sterero loud enough for me to hear it, even though our campsites were about 150 yards apart. They eventually brought a dog in - or did they have friends over? Not sure. Anyways every time the coyotes would start howling, the dog would start barking and it wouldn't shut up. IT SUCKED! I think part of the problem is that there is no longer a camp host. They used to have a campground host here, who was good, and would be patrolling the campground on a regular basis. Another person showed up the first night and blasted THEIR stereo from 9pm-12am, and then left, without paying for their site. If you want peace and quiet, this is probably no longer the place to do. Have a Plan B and a Plan C. I haven't been to Picacho Peak State Park's campground lately, but that could be an option. Not much wilderness out there between Marana and Tucson, and what there is, is in the midst of heavy smuggler's territory and are no longer safe. No staff on site at all except between Jan - Mar. That needs to change. BTW, right now H Loop is closed. So is C Loop.

Sorry to hear all the bad things you experienced. We didn't have any of that and I typically go to bed by 10pm because I usually get up around 4am and go for my morning walk as soon as the sun comes up.

They didn’t have any showers there when we camped a number of years ago.

Very Helpful. Thanks! I was able to see the lot we just reserved for next weekend. Kinda wish you showed the inside of the washrooms- that seems to have been an issue for some of the reviews I read- but overall, positive reviews otherwise.

I don’t film the bathrooms because I don’t want to walk in on someone and have a complaint made. But I am glad I could help, enjoy your stay.

We enjoyed your program. We have camped there many times and liked the area so much we bought a home in Snow Hill. The park is called phonically Poke o moke named after the river that runs thru it as well as the town to the south named Pocomoke Maryland and the area you were in was the Pocomoke river state park Shads landing side they also have the Pocomoke river state park at Milburn landing off of rt 12 the Snow Hill Road.

Why is it called devil’s island?
@kangaruuhops22364 ай бұрын
Sorry for the late reply was not getting notifications for over a year. It is called devils island because of the loud noise of the waves crashing into the caves.

Lovers Leap trail from the same parking lot was better and the reward for me was seeing IBEX at the top. But Lovers leap is a more difficult trail. I don't record all my walks but am recording these so on rainy days at home I can watch them while walking on the treadmill. I started using the AllTrails app at the beginning of this trip though and have walked 496 miles since April.

Thanks, I looked for this type of video when deciding where to stay on this 7 mo trip and didn't have much luck finding videos that let you know what campers could fit in which sites so have been trying to get some out there. You have inspire me to add newfoundland to our bucket list. We will be doing the east coast in 2025. Next year is Eclipse in April somewhere near Popular Bluff Missouri then taking my mom and dad out to CA so she can see here sisters one more time before they get too old to travel.
