You never know what you will find when you investigate something. Child abuse is a horrible subject but needs to be discussed so history will hopefully not be repeated. Congratulations on this well made doc and thankyou for telling it.

Still watching your videos in 2024. Your videos are my reference on fixing my GU Patrol here in Manila. You are being missed by a lot of people here on KZbin who followed you throughout the years just like I am. Cheers mate! Hope that you'll come back one day :)

Hey thanks Brad! I just looked it up, a really good topic thanks for that! Life is a bit too crazy for me to head interstate at the moment but I have added it to my podcast ideas list, that's one I can research and write from home :)

Alex, thank you for all you have done in the 4wd and camping scene and now in this truth telling, absolutely fantastic, just gutted I didn't see this when you released it 4 months ago. Looking forward to the rest of the series

Thanks mate! Yeah the downsides of releasing it on a channel that has been quiet for two years, KZbin showed it to hardly any of the old subscriber base 😅 thanks for watching

Thanks Craq good to see your name pop up 🙂 how good are those OG stubby holders! I've still got mine too. Plus about 100 stickers and 30 shirts 😂 I just use them for working around the house shirts and pick out a new one as they wear out

I own a 2010 Nissan Patrol Safari GL Trim which has an autmatic transmission and a 4.8 L inline 6 petrol engine. Around 4 months ago I took my car to the mechanic and he put around 6 L of differential oil into the front differential and a month after that my car would randomly feel heavy and its tachometer wouldn't pass 2 RPM and when steering it always made a screeching sound. I then discovered that it requiresn1.5 L of differential oil instead of the 6 and after making that change my car drove smoothly again and the screeching sound when turning the steering wheel disappeared.

@3:35 You mention the best place for the boost sender and I agree that's an accurate reading of what is going into the motor but curious is it safer to have it Tee'd in near the turbo like everyone usually does to measure what the turbo is making? Even though there may be some wastage after wouldn't it be more important to make sure you're not pushing the turbo too hard or making more than it's rated for.. eg. Turbo rated for 19psi and you're seeing 19psi on the guage at the intake but the turbo could be making more and you don't see it because you're reading it only entering the engine? Love the vid btw just curious to learn before I do this myself
@Alex.GАй бұрын
Very true points there, I guess it depends on your individual case. For my ZD30 the turbo is known to be happy with high boost but there's a factory ECU fuel cut if the boost hits something like 16 or 18 psi, so for me it's important to see that I'm accurately hitting no more than 15psi

🙈 the way you used the jack to break the bead, just has so many margins for error! Simplest would be to loop a soft shackle through the rim and use that as the leverage point for the hi lift, far less points for failure
@Alex.G2 ай бұрын
Soft shackles didn't even exist when I made this haha. That would be a great way to do it these days for sure though.

I tried this with the old 20 year old two burner stove I had stored in the attic. The right hand burner still works great, left hand the flame is very low. It didn't help. Oh well, the old gas camping stove is just there for a back up. The left hand burner will be good for doing my slow cook beef stews, I guess. I still love my two burner Dometic Origo 3000 metho cooker. One thing I'd never part with because it's simple and never fails.
