This group's so called 'passion for the welfare of greyhounds' is funded by them sustaining and encouraging the sport, their wages are paid for by bookies (by their own admittance). This group is not independent to the sport which it should have been. They literally take money to hide the wrongdoings of the trainers. A true animal welfare group would not be paid by those performing the atrocities.

It’s not their fault they don’t understand how a very very bad hare driver can let a dog win by cheating with the hare ! In a fair run race the winner would have finished 3rd but rounding the 3rd and 4th bends the hare driver slows the hare down (look at the lead dogs head it’s looking sideways) so it slows down for a split second thinking shall I go out to the hare rail and get it ! meanwhile in the split second the dog in 3rd Brady’s bullet has pulled 3 length bk on the leading pair then the hare driver speeds up the hare when they get onto the straight and within another split second the hare is back where it should be but the fast finisher has already caught them up ! The owner of the winner is apparently a producer on a dog programme ! True or false makes no difference to the story the winner was the 3rd best in the race ! It’s no wonder greyhound racing has lost supporters and customers ! Personally I only get exited about shelbourne park ! Thank god for that track and john Boyle never a bad race and never get cheated oh and Ian fortune and young henessey keep up the good work at the worlds best track

Every greyhound meet I’ve been to Wales have been an excellent experience. The animals are well fed and are raring to go. The dogs and many of the owners have wonderful personalities but of course some apples spoil the lot. This tradition must never give up.

Well done mr Cahill you are 100% right what you say about getting bets on and its hard when you breed a litter and have to wait till they are reared trialled and get fit to have a lump on only to find out they won’t take milk tokens, and the enemy are now deciding what times the tracks race etc , it’s really hard to get enthusiasm when we are all up against it.

Good luck finding enough good dogs to race in the comps and even better luck finding other dogs to race against thanks to the GBGB resending owner trainers licences after some went out and paid good money for a decent dog or two to train themselves only to have the rules changed at there expense

All the presenters and annalists on Greyhound TV are bloody marvellous much more down to earth than presenters on other sports progammes

It is so cool to see where the hounds come from. My last 3 have been from Florida, but well-intentioned, but I would argue wrong-headed people got racing banned there. The beautiful pup currently under my arm was born in Ireland and raced mostly at Oxford. I'm glad there is a racing industry to bring us these wonderful pets. There was no way I wanted a 'show' greyhound. I want to spend my life with real racers.

I hope my dog came from a kennel like this one! Watching videos like these inspired me to start cooking for my dogs, but it is tough to give them that much variety when you only have 2. If anyone could put me into contact with my dog's trainer Terence Nevin, I would really appreciate it.
