One day metro will have a new fare machine. With that you can scan by using the app. Besides just tapping there is still tapping but they will change the the metro card I believe when they change the fare.
@TirelessWorldTraveller3 күн бұрын
Thank you and I hope that most of the fare card machines in major cities are standardized on one or two apps. Such as ticket token instead of each metro having their own apps.🙏

Downtown Detroit is such a fun spot to be right now and not many people realize it yet. It’s a city that is truly driven by its sports teams, but if you’re down there on a random Wednesday with no sports going on, it’s so calming and peaceful. Very unique for a major city.
@TirelessWorldTraveller10 күн бұрын
I visited both tigers and lions stadium on Saturday afternoon and also walked along Woodward Avenue that evening and it much busier with families at Little Caesar Center and at both stadium. This is my first visit to Detroit and fell in love with the vibrant downtown atmosphere. I should visit more often.🙏❤️

How big is Chicago O Hare airport?
@TirelessWorldTraveller20 күн бұрын
It is one of the large airport in USA with 4 terminals with 1, 2 and 3 are connected and for terminal 5 need to take a terminal connector. I think terminal 4 is closed. The bigger airport I visited are ATL, DFW and PHL in USA.

Great video! The Aberdeen Steak House just across from Paddington Station's Spring Street entrance is a good restaurant (shown on the right side of the street before descending down the Spring Street ramp into the station). Loved the neighborhood also - we stayed a few blocks from Paddington Station at Paddington Apartments in Talbot Square. The apartment was a cheaper rental than other hotels/apartments in the area and was a very nice rental. I'd also suggest checking out The Cleveland Arms for their Sunday Roast...specifically the seared pork belly. :) The Cleveland Arms is about 10 minute walking distance of the Paddington Station area.

From the start of your video you are crossing over the rmains of old US99 which is just like route 66 except it ran from Mexico to Canada. On the right a little past Dillon Rd was Camp Verdo which was a work camp for the California aquaduct. Just befor going up the hill are the Painted Heills and Angel Veiw . Once in Morongo Valley look for the Big Morongo Wildlife preserve on the right, this is a large oasis with lots of standing water, trees and wildlife. The second big hill is Yucca Valley, turn left on Pioneertown Rd whhich foes to Pioneertown which is a old west movie set with real building that folks live in. Most of the Cisco Kid shows were filmed here.

No more CTC-1Bs, they’ve all been retired now. R.I.P 1989-2024, thanks for 35 years of service. Lucky you got to ride 1636 last year because who knew how much more time in service it had and MBTA was in the midst of phasing out all of their single-level coach leaders because of service reductions during the early days and years of the pandemic as well as them buying close to 100 more double-decker cabs and coaches from Hyundai-Rotem in December 2019, the majority of which are now in service. Most single-level coaches were stored at BET out-of-service because MBTA ridership on all modes of transportation even commuter rail was way down from COVID-19 and they didn’t have to be used.
