Have prices increased much since you made this video? Do you think a budget of $3000aud per month total is enough for one person ? Thank you

We love Bargara and stay here for 2 weeks at Christmas every year. We have ( and have to give a big shout out to the managers here) a permanent booking at Don Pancho on the beach. There is a Woolworths and an Aldi too, plus enough shops in town so you need not leave. The 11 1/2 months go slow waiting to get back to beautiful Bargara. 😢

Thanks for the video, but I had to keep forwarding past all the sections of travelling along the road. I was interested to see where you stopped along the way as we are headed to Katherine from Barkly Homestead. Maybe you might consider cutting the sections of video short that just show the road. Just a suggestion, but I do appreciate the time you took to film the trip.

Awww, we miss An Bang Beach! We spent six weeks there total and fell in love with the village. French Bakery was my favorite for pho, Lucky Break for banh mi, and we ate at Phuongs almost every day. We stayed in the yellow house next to Phoungs, down the road from the pharmacy. If we could live anywhere else it would be there. Thank you for the trip down memory lane!

Hi thank you for the comment. We didn't notice any doctor clinics as thankfully we didn't need one. Having said that there are medical services in nearby Da Nang. 15 minute drive.

I took this train from downtown to the airport in April, and it was great! I'm in California, and unfortunately we don't have a train link like this. (We don't have many trains anywhere.) I loved the convenience of this. Have fun in Bangkok!

Great video guys, what was the pullman like? Looks fancy but wow the price is nearly $300 Aud, is that the going rate? Also, can you recommend any other hotels in the same area that look good to stay in but a little cheaper?
@FrequenttravellerAustralia
@FrequenttravellerAustralia Жыл бұрын
Hi Zac, I'm glad you enjoyed our video! :) We booked the Pullman months ago and were surprised how reasonable the prices were. I suppose with the return of tourism and approach of Christmas, the prices have returned to normal. :) We stayed at the FuramaXclusive Asoke Bangkok, which is across the road from the Pullman (there is a MRT exit just down the road). Rooms were showing signs of age but cheap and clean. We booked months ago, so not sure what the prices are like now. This is a great area if you plan to explore Bangkok independently as it is also close to the BTS skytrain. Thank you for your comment! :)
