This is THE most fun backing track I’ve jammed to. So many modes and scales work with this track and sound SO good. This is the best track to work out new ideas. Seriously, thank you for your hard work, this is incredible.

Hi Ben (and other viewers) I have a question about the chord listed as Cb maj9? I guess that's just a theoretical representation of B maj9? However, some notes in B maj 9 don't seem to fit at all. Should it be B maj9 or some other major chord?

Doesn’t E minor have a F# in it? Why the Fmaj and 7 isn’t it the ii chord diminished? Or would I just play or borrow from E Phrygian ( flat 2over )the F chords?

You said you recorded this with Studio One? I use studio one too. How did you get these amazing drums? Are they done with a software that I haven't discovered. I believe the keys and bass was you? Lovely backing track. I tried my best Greg Howe impression and it worked! Thank you!!!

Ok, Ben. I know you'll never read this, but you've got me diggin for those chromatic Carlton motifs that my memory fumbles with...this in a time where me jamming alone is close to all I've got left, or so it would appear. I'll be by the store when I'm liquid again, you can bank on it. Phenominal stucture and texture, BTW. This piece illuminates a few tired scales with distinct iridesence, teasing the melodicism out. Thanks!
