It's powder and she shakes her head lol Turned out really nice. You can stretch the roots of your wash n go the with a blow dryer but I get it we have very similar hair

I’ve been doing my own braids for years with varying levels of success with my parting. Sometimes I just accept that the back is crazy and wear it in specific styles to cover it lol. But this time, I want to do a really good job, and I love how you spoke so clearly. Thanks!

Sometimes when I install mini twist, especially if I’m using extension hair will leave out my edges and just let them be their own twist, no fake hair. Going forward I’m definitely going to use your method and parting out my entire hairline. Identify those sections and then do my rows. Going back from that genius idea. Also, i do mini twists quarterly, it’s my last style before a professional trim and i gain so much density and length with this routine.

Thank you, I'm CURRENTLY braiding my hair in box braids for the first time, I have already started, i wish I had seen this before starting. every popular video just shows how to braid, without the parting part. I am currently not in the know of how to get a neat parting as i progress to the front.
