I love this! Not only do you speak English better than many people who are _born_ here, but you've thought through the process of learning a language and can express that process very well! (I'm not an ESL teacher, but I _am_ an English teacher, so this is close to my heart.)

WOW Laura, I'm so impressed with how you learned english and how well you speak it too. Your ability to learn english so quickly and very well is definitely a sign of high intelligence. Portuguese is my first language, but when I started school at 5 years old, English came quickly and easily.....probably because I love to talk. Spanish came easy too as it's very similar to Portuguese which made it easy for me to communicate with my Spanish speaking in-laws. My in-laws like my mom have been in this country for over 55 years and never bothered to learn english. My dad died 8 years after arriving here in 1970 and in those short 8 years, my dad had learned both English and Spanish very well.

Hi Laura, CONGRATULATIONS on your 1,000 subscribers. I tend to be rough with my shoes, for that reason I own several replicas of my favorite Chanel ballet flats to save wear and tear on my authentic Chanel's. I've worn my Chanel replicas when trying authentic Chanels and I have never had the sales people say they're fakes, I actually get compliments....LOL Your food videos are getting better and better, I love the more serious tone when you're describing your cooking steps. Keep up the great work. I'm going to make this tomorrow night for my families dinner.

We should buy and wear anything we want. Truly, if you enjoy it it’s all that matters. We are not going to live forever, we should just have as much fun with our lives as we can. There are so many items on Etsy people make and sell, and I love them so much. Great quality and amazing price too

My son lives in Santa Monica near the beach and is hoping to buy a house there. We went to look with him and it was almost 3 million for a 100 year old house that needed to be torn down. Not very encouraging! You do live in paradise though and being able to walk on the beach boardwalk is one of my favorite things to do. And it’s free!

You're so beautiful, inside and out!!! I'm in California too, I love it here.....but not the cost of living here. I have young adult kids and worry if they'll be able to buy their own home. I don't care what your kitchen looks like, I too would enjoy watching you cook. I totally agree with everything you said from abortion to politics, today's Democrats left me. I have many friends and clients who believe the same....there's more of us than people think, most stay quiet about their views. I'm a first generation immigrant and so thankful that my parents immigrated from the Azores in 1970, they too came here legally and they came here with hope of a better future for them and their children.

I have the M/L with gold hardware too and also had a jumbo double flap with gold but sold the jumbo as it was too heavy and the gold made it too dressy. I really missed the jumbo size so I hunted the preloved market for a single flap jumbo with silver hardware in excellent condition. It took me 2 yrs to find one and I love the single flap as it is so much lighter!!! I was really lucky it looks brand new and I got it for an excellent price. I just read two articles that said big bags are coming back!! Plus the single flap lets you tie the chain inside so you can wear crossbody. Mirbag

@ my wrist is 14 cm and I‘ve decided to go with 15 in love and 14 in juc. Otherwise the bracelets are too lose and can easily rotate around my wrist.

My SA told me that the most convenient is when your wrist has half a size. If you have for example 15,5 cm wrist, than size 16 in juc would fit you perfectly.

Happy Birthday! Looks like you had a fun celebration with your family. You are so lucky to live in such a beautiful part of the country. I love Southern CA. My son lives in Santa Monica so i’m there often. It’s definitely my happy place. I worked in the healthcare industry with children so i always felt my job was fulfilling and i was making a difference. If you can find a job that gives you purpose it will be much easier to not dread going there everyday. Hope you find that for yourself!
