I think that this was installed in 2000! My mom went here in the mid-late ‘80s and well into the 1990s when this was a one story Burdines.

These are pretty much the best Schindler 400As you’ll find in the Ft. Lauderdale area.

These were installed by Otis in 1980 and modernized by Schindler in 2012. The former Neiman Marcus here (shutted in 2020) also has a scenic lift. This is first of two Macys in Broward County to both have glass elevators (Pembroke Lakes - 1992 install) and receive Schindler modernizations (Coral Square - 2023 mod).

It’s nice that haughton still is original at oak brook but I wish we would have 330As in the Macys at oak brook center! We wouldn’t have to fear being stuck on a haughton up until this day!
