Remake the crescent hawks revenge! Take to the beginnings! Before FASA let those little bastards steal our mechs! BT announced originally in 1979 to be released in 1980. I was there. It had a niche to replace D&D because of those killings in the midwest. BT hit NA and the western block in 1980. They had it in West Germany and The UK. It was more than just the mechs. It was people and soldiers and ships and all the weapons. Hovercraft and jets and choppers. It was everything! Especially the Jump Infantry! Infantry had weapons for tanks and mechs. Tanks were huge and hard to crack lile the Rommel and Patton. The DC was always taking territory. There were pirates in space and terrorists and cults and everything you could think of, and then they came and they were insane and genetically modified and crazed by war. The clans are the bad guys. The story is made of history and what could happen. It bares more on realism of possible general fiction and science fiction rather than some goofy star wars or voltron crap. It was more realistic warfare. It had rules and some kind of physics that made sense to the player. It was its prime and was the first to use the word Mech. Now all they do over there is copy Fasa. The franchise was screwed over so bad. Theu just gave up. I mean letting microsoft make a banger then nothing because of hasbro. F hasbro. F microsoft. F gold harmony. Fasa came up with robotech and gold harmony made a story. Fasa should have kept robotech since it was supposed to be the era before battletech. Never deal with people who do not have similar laws in business practice lile the USA. At least we have ethics. Even if we keep japan safe from the ussr. In those days the Japanese copied evryone and everything to the point the language today is now 70 percent english. All the stories even today are copies of copues of copies. None of those ideas were from there ever. The whole robot thing is from the USA since the author from the czech republic fled there to be able to publish freely. Even the word robot is from czech. Despite what apple or google may say. And no it does not mean slave either. It means both work as a noun and to work ass a verb where rabotnik means the worker. It would be great if someone bought the whole thing and killed the new woke fascisto mess and took back all of robotech and bought the macross garbage with it and trashed it because that's what it is trash. This would make for two BT genres as BT was supposed to grow from its jet to mech origin a tech that was lost and to be found again only with the original star league mechs and not the later mass produced ones of the succession wars. The light mechs were supposed to turn into full jets or partial which something from robotech specifically. Whatever the settlement was Fasa lost no funds. They settled in counter suit and changed up everything into mech focus only and made shitty games with cool story ideas. Not one game really gave the player freedom or the ability to experiance the lore until mods were availavle for mw5 mercenaries. The story sucked. The cgaracters were garbage. No vr. And math seems to be a problem at Pirhana. It took 72 years to complete the campaign. You only ever have one leopard and no 6 mechs. No dropships, no infantry, no tanks, no nothing. No good orders no good AI. No realfluid movement, no decent melee, no stomping or kicking, no knockdowns, no grabbing or clamping, no pushing or crouching or ducking or shifting. Without mods you can expect to level an entire army of mechs get 3 small lasers and 30k then spend 6 months to 1 year at travel cost of 3 million dollars or more to fight again for 30k and see offers for mechs on market for 17mill that will need 23 million in repairs and 3 years of work to complete. The franchise was ruined by investors and loss of moral. Also theives you can never get rid of them. Mechwarrior was ruined by trying to make the tabletop rules apply. Also by making excuses as to why they look like that and move like that and further changing the look all together to mame it easier to make because of laziness by the devs. If every other game on a console has curves and such then why wwould not a pc run it? Look at mass effect now look at mw5. They can make them move fluid and have curves instead of roblox/minecraft looking jokes. Also they can be more giving with stopping all the restrictive behaviors of the game and let you have an army of mechs and take worlds if you want. They can give you infantry and vehicles and aircraft and dropships. This franchise needs an enema and real passionate leaders who were there when it started.
