I hated sterile compounding at first but then really started enjoying it because no one bothers you and I kinda just feel like I’m alone in my happy place lol

Great, but you forgot, doing your initial assessment, ABC's especially, checking alarms settings, vent settings, drips (double-check 2 RNs), following every line to every pump, assuring everything's labeled appropriately, updating family. ALL that comes before meds.
@Ktreneice10 күн бұрын
She more than likely did all of that, some things she can’t record and she did mention she started her assessment in the video . I’m sure she knows how to do her role given how efficient and organized she is. This is just a short clip, not attacking you, just saying.

She's plotting how she is going to get away with doing practically nothing all day. Her most hectic task of the day will be fudging her nurses notes. Trust me I've seen it all. Never did it myself. My conscious wouldn't let me. Therefore I walked away from nursing

Usually when referring to Indians it would be best to say Native American Indians. When you refer to Indians it’s like remembering to old westerns.

Kristin was my doctor awhile ago. She helped me get off my blood pressure medications with daily walking and I remember getting so angry cause I wasn’t losing a lot of weight but my clothes weren’t fitting. They were too big. Then, the reality for me that everything was working was my blood pressure stabilizing. I wasn’t so happy. I loved that she kept meds to a minimum. She was amazing. ❤ now that I found out she’s at marina heights I will be going back!!

When I underwent chemotherapy (4 years in remission), I remember only being advised to eat protein and stay hydrated. I had no appetite, anyway.

Geez. As a critical care nurse, you have to do your own patient bed bath?

Yes notes: I'm still a nursing student now but I've had rotation on pediatric ICU, and yes we do the patients' bed bath. pls note that my experience is still few, and I haven't had my rotation in ICU (adults)

You do not have to do that just work and get the license. I would not go to school for this. It’s a waste of money and time. I’ve been a tech now I’m in management and I’m in school to be a research scientist before being a doctor

This doctor is the best. I only wish he lived in our area again. He helped me and my wife WAY beyond what was called for. He came very highly recommended by our family doctor who retired. He has been given all positives from everyone we have met and many travel substantial miles to be seen by him. We cannot say enough about his ability and the diligence he puts into helping his patience.

I see no disabled. No communication or physical disabilities. And no training of any of this diverse work gorse to talk to ppl with communication and cognitive and memory disabilities. No chairs by check in desk. Towel dispensers in bathrooms u teachable to those in wheel chairs or shorter people to reach. No training on neuro divergent ppl like autistic or veterans with brain injuries who can swear and talk wrong and loud due to brain injury and I hv watched u trained drs n personnel tell them they need to leave if they swear with aphasia. So I don’t care about my drs looking diverse when it doesn’t include disabled ppl and teaching them their rights per the American disability law to help them get fair and equal treatment in a timely manner and have accommodations provided when needed. Diversity includes disabled patients and providers. I had Appt today at u ion hills and Tatum and nothing has changed and a forth of my appt educating ppl n then they bill ins???? With make it btr. Call ur local office and ask about thia and what they do to help those patients. N u will be gobsmacked at the pathetic replies. Shame on you honor health.
