So many people knew him as the wild and crazy character on Letterman or with Regis but this was Richard at his best.

Richard was one of a kind. He often said he was happy acting like a clown if it brought joy to people, and it would also make you focus on him so he could deliver his important messages of self love. I was looking forward to his public comeback before he passed. RIP, Richard.

This man really had a big heart but he knew how it was to have low self confidence, struggle with weight and got bullied. He's totally unique as a person but so incredibly relatable.

I remember watching his show back in the 80’s. I’ve used his DVD’s to exercise with over the years. He is an inspiration to so many people. The one thing I disagree with is his statement regarding doing good things to get to Heaven. Ephesians 2:8 says “For by grace you are saved through faith, and this not of yourselves; it is the gift of God”. Accepting Jesus as your Savior is the only way to get to Heaven.

This man is a national treasure. Like Mr Roger’s, this man is a gift as he cares about others. He’s not about a personal agenda, he is out to help and that is tops in my book.

Yes like Mr Rogers one of my heroes the other being my late grandma on my moms side. I think I need to add Richard to the list, he was a good egg.

Hi!! I tried to donate to the Venmo scan at the top of the hill but someone scratched it up so it can’t scan. Love what you two do and thought you should know so you could replace and add your Venmo @ to the next sign you put up. LMK what it is!! :)

Oh no! Thank you so much for letting me know. I'll try to get that fixed as soon as possible 😬 People have painted over, stickered over, and torn up so many of those QR codes. It's hard to keep them in good shape. I don't think I'll ever understand it. But thanks again! If you still feel like dropping a dollar or two, you can use @ben-adams-4 on Venmo 🙌 But no pressure!

One of the biggest lessons I learnt from him was how to react to hateful people. I remember being a kid and seeing people make fun of him in a way that was over the line and he always threw love and humour back at them no matter how mean they were.

People need to realize that most of the people who make fun of him, like Howard Stern, really like him.

I'm overweight, and have seen even some of the most "Christian" people treat me like GARBAGE! Christianity for some people is a disguise to hide their Evil! I said what I said abd truly don't care who gets offended. I've seen some Christian people, treat those who they feel are prettier much better than women they feel are unattractive. It's Ungodly Behavior! Richard Simmons makes is feel like God is Hugging on us mind, body, and soul!
