In the late 80s Quicksilver played more free concerts at Mark's Meadows than anyone else it was extraordinary. Lots of concerts in Golden gate park, no one got in any fights and no one got arrested

Fly on Nick. There were times when you were actually in the room with us through your music and relating to what was actually going on. As far as the flag in LA, it was such a huge thing, I mean really huge. Me and my friends got to stand outside and listened to the show. It was loud and great and they opened the doors so everybody could hear. Condolences to Tim and family.

Heard Nick Gravenites and John Cipollina in Aarhus Denmark half a lifetime ago. Me and my friend had a short chat with Cipollina , as he was warming up at the entrance to the toilet facilities with his guitar and a small amp. We had come to hear him (never heard about Gravenites), hoping he'd do some old Quicksilver song. What a nice guy! Gravenites got pretty drunk and was making a pass at my wife during the break.
