I remember I used to watch this animatic back in high school with no knowledge of the full album, and I haven't thought much of the chicken coop when they sing sharing a bed. Now I'm a huge fan of all the songs, and after rewatching this, the chicken coop HAUNTED ME.

To understand the story, you should listen to the whole album. But to make it simple: The conjoined twins are called Eva & Lynn. The order of which twin is which is stated to be even unrecognizable by the twins themselves, which is why they call themselves "Evelyn". The song is about the duo trying to live & get along. One of the twin's wants to live her own life while the other twin is scared of losing her sister.

But, in short, they're conjured twins that were hated by everyone, mostly people thinking it was something from the devil The twins fell in love with someone, but only one of them could date that someone, so one of the twins poisoned the another one, causing their death
