Enjoyed your video. I’m on a very similar journey. I bought the long mill and yes, it is a very hard learning curve, but I’m having a lot of fun with it. Added it to my woodworking shop.

the matter of fact is that machines built in China are much cheaper. I purchased mine (4x8 table and 3,2 kW spindle) for 5G about 10 years ago. Today it still works without any problems. Most mass produced "made in the US" machines are built based on Chinese components anyway. Technical support is important but not crucial. There are many sources to get help.

@christophergilbert519 In a way. I usually put together a 1 min highlight video of the creation process. On other projects, some videos can be 2-4 minutes long that go into a bit more detail.

@@dwighth1633Thank you for your kind words. They are 1/8 shank ball nose engraving bits. I found them from Spetool. The one I use the most is their .25mm bit. It works amazingly.

I’ve got the HD520 and have struggled with removing the piece from the machine bed and returning it, especially for detailed work. I’m probably overthinking it and making it more complicated than it actually is.

@@timadams7274 I take them off each time to pour the inlays. I have attached fences on my the bed of the 510 spoil board, so that I can place them back in the same spot each time, and NEVER change my origin point from the lower left corner.

This is the Shark HD 510. I do know that there is a laser attachment you can purchase, but I don't know much beyond that in terms of the laser.
