Nice recap, put together well enough for me to stay till the end. It's hard to believe this movie came from Germany in 2018 and the series Dark came out of Germany in 2017. Obviously the country isn't a major factor, it's the genre and the creators. But it's just a little amazing such vastly different sensibilities happened around the same time/same place featuring a "young people" story.
