Beautiful place and river, shame about the rubbish music to go with the video. Fishing is about peace, tranquility and being at one with nature.
@anglingdreams81498 ай бұрын
What a stupid thing to come out with. It’s a drone film so there are no sounds. Silence would be more rubbish than music.

The track of doom is not maintained. It is very slippery when wet. Do not attempt the track down to the fishery unless you have a proper 4x4. It cost my mate £700 to be towed out of the ditch in his van. The local farmer would have done it but has been scared off by insurance liability from the fishery owners. On a plus side we caught 7 barbel and a chub on the day. Which was all this bloke was interested in. Absolutely no advice or assistance given except to call the AA. Who by the way do not have the proper equipment to get you out if stuck. Hence the money paid to a specialist company. The driver who got stuck at the side of the track is retired delivery driver with a vast amount of experience. The reason he slid to the side of the track was that when he was applying brake his van slid to the side which left his tyres on mud. As stated be aware if you do not have a 4x4 and it has been raining don't attempt and walk down. The information we was given about insurance by a local perhaps is a lie. But not sure why the person or farmer he spoke to would want to lie. Perhaps sick and tired of pulling people out.
@anglingdreams81499 ай бұрын
It is maintained, but due to poor driving gets chewed up very quickly. We have vans and cars down there on a daily basis and they manage fine - as with anywhere off road though, approach with caution when it's wet - that's common sense. There is no ditch so this report is a lie, unless this is from the guy who couldn't reverse using his mirrors and drove off the track into the undergrowth? The AA have helped before, and that is standard advice for any "stuck" vehicle, as yes the farmer and ourselves have got better things to be doing than dragging vehicles up the hill (or driving them for others) because of bad driving and lack of skill, nothing to do with "insurance from the fishery owners", another lie. What other advice or assistance can I offer a vehicle in a hedge? Slip into a phonebox and put a lycra suit on? And as for "this bloke" (me) being only interested in fish - anyone would think I run a fishing business...

Must say I had the pleasure of fishing this small but beautiful stretch of river. This fishing is absolutely amazing. The stamp of chub smallest about 1lb the biggest landed 6 and 1/2 lost one at the net the size of a small child. 2 barbel out that were absolutely pristine condition. Recommend this spot to anyone. Thanks Adam for putting us on the spot. Will be back next year ( if the wife let's me) 😂

There’s a few films here that have nothing to do with angling - we are commercial drone pilots. Yes there’s no sound, it’s just a short bit of extra drone material. Thanks for your comments though and glad you enjoy the Mk1 👍

Very sad. I can’t believe in the 21st century anyone is allowed to abuse such a delicate and important environment to this extent.

Maan, it's tragic. The Wye is losing a lot of its 'water crowfoot.' It's the bedrock of life in the river. The insects and larvae need it and they feed the birds and fish. If you want to know why it's happening go on over to 'save the wye' campaign. The phosphate because of manure and chicken units specifically is off the scale. It's killing the river. Cheers dude. I fished this exact spot earlier through the fishing passport this morning and fished it from my chair and it is the easiest to walk too and access. I didn’t catch but it was a lovely spot and I will be back again soon. I have Thomas wood booked for Monday so fingers crossed for a barbel or two! 🤞 awesome videos of the locations mate it’s appreciated

Its amazing seeing the fish like that, I mainly fish the middle and tidal trent, so even when ist low and clear, you rarely see the barbel unless they breach the surface, so seeing them in the shallows is brilliant..
