Despite the creepy theme, I bought this bundled with DMC4SE from a Halloween sale on the PS store back in mid-October 2021 before playing DMC5, and was blown away. Devil May Cry became one of my favorite Capcom IPs next to Resident Evil, Street Fighter, and others after that faithful evening during the crisp glaze of 2021's fall equinox, with my mom assisting on the purchase. It was unforgettable and worth playing.

Thanx...i managed to talk to him, then hitting strong--attack by accident, moving me forward into the hole, skipping everything after his first line! :D For me he wasn´t even with me down there, when i put the Lordvessel.

Alerting enemies makes it impossible to sneak past and to attack from behind.

This game is weird with stealth so it's best not to throw anything anywhere unless it's a killing shot. So throwing things at walls doesn't work.

If it doesn't work one way, it won't work at all. Gotta find more ways to get passed guards. They can be passed without being disturbed in that area with the 2 guards if I remember correctly.

i know you probably already know this. and maybe you do it for a reason. but when you cast "hellfire" i think its called, the one where you shoot 3 fireballs out of your cape. if you hold the up arrow right after casting it you get 2 larger orbs and if i remember correctly they dont get destroyed they pass through enemies. anyways... if you knew this sorry haha. just thought id toss it out there.

Why this game gets compared to devil May cry I don't understand. Devil May cry just did not play very well when I played it. I'm not going to say that that is a bad game but it's just not my cup of tea.
