•#Bramayugam/#TheAgeOfMadness(2024) Descriptive Review:-🎬😈🖤 *Indian Malayalam language Folk Horror film...😈🖤🎬 •My Review:- -The Age Of Madness is an out and out dark horror stuff with the right proportions of eerie folklore and grim fantasy elements.🖤👌Actually, I'm an ardent fan of '#FolkHorror' stuffs...So I had high hopes on this one since it announced. Hell yeah...,the entire film lived up to my sky-high expectations and I loved it to the core!💯😌Director #RahulSadasivan should be lauded for his commendable direction.👏He perfectly transformed his innovative folklore notion to mainstream cinema with utmost perfection!🖤🔥His writing had this slowness which itself is its benefit.💯It’s like something demonic crawling towards you, slowly but steadily and scarily, and with each minute passing, the figure appears to become mightier and scarier. It’s this fine slow building of suspense that keeps us tightly hooked to our seats in the first half.👌He reveals twists simply in second half...,and with an astonishing climax, he ends his fable with a solid impact!!👏He also explored the essence of sick morality, caste discrimination, and how power corrupts one in adhering to those traits, throughout the film..!! -#Mammootty is one of the finest actors in India right now. He has given tremendous performances back-to-back in various content oriented films in recent times..🖤‘Bramayugam’ is another great feather in his cap.💯🔥Man unleashes a storm of fear as ‘Kodumon Potti’ through his facial expressions and tricky dialogue delivery. His performance will scare the hell out of u.🤯👏#ArjunAshokan was excellent. He evokes vulnerability like anything making his character very sympathetic.👏#SiddharthBharatan was gud with grey shades in character.👌The technicalities of the film is quite gud.🔥The film's world-building is astonishing.😯The combination of spookily amazing editing and magnificent cinematography has produced terrific texture in Black and White visuals that feel terrifying yet beautiful, real yet surreal..👏😯🖤The spine chilling music and scores made this film even more captivating.🔥🙏 •Verdict:- The Age Of Madness is a remarkably well made Indian version of ‘#A24-esque’ elevated Folk Horror film, literally deserves every bit of attention!!💯🙏🖤I thoroughly enjoyed each and every frame of this breathtaking stuff. Well, the duration of this film should have been slightly reduced!
