Hi there, nice, what software you are using ? and what type of LiDAR camera is it?
@droneworksuk4 ай бұрын
This dataset was a Yellowscan Mapper+, using the Yellowscan Cloudstation software. We now have a Rock Robotic R3 Pro and are trialling TerraSolid software for processing.

How long to get the volume calculation? is it in hours, days or what? Thanks
@droneworksuk5 ай бұрын
For smaller sites we can usually collect and process the data, delivering a report in the same day. Otherwise it's around 48 hours but we will discuss this with the client and work to their requirements. The bonus is, we can cover the whole site, not just one stockpile. Thanks for watching 🙌🏻

I`m in a home inspection (facade) small business. Really liked the digital twin for reporting issues and reports for customers. I don`t have the necessity for asset managing. Whatou would be the ideal drone/software to work under this scenario? Most of soft. aims asset management and have prohibitive prices for small business inspection. Great Video!

Hi Jason, What model of GNSS Reciever would you recommend? thanks
@droneworksuk Жыл бұрын
Depends on your need and frequency of use. For GCP's occasional use, go for the Trimble Catalyst DA2 or Emlid RX. For more advanced features and more regular usage, go for the Emlid Reach RS2 or RS2+.

Do you charge a flat fee for the job on something like this? Or do you charge an hourly rate for the work?

This will depend on both you and the client. This is a repeat job so a fee per visit was agreed. Don't forget to cater for your travel, office time and hardware / software costs. New stockpile video coming shortly!

so how accurate is the stockpile measurement?
@droneworksuk2 жыл бұрын
The data itself has an RMSE of 3cm, using GCP, check points and RTK drone, but the volume calculations are generally within 3% of laser scan or total station, whilst being much quicker and safer. Accuracy of the volume does tend to depend on the shape of the heap, but always within the required tolerances for material management.
