great picking Brother, that capo seems to work really well and doesn't pull the strings out at all, but i know that's down to screw tension and how close it is to the fret. i had one the entry level Paige cradle capos i used on my D28 .. i recently bought a Shubb F1 or i would enter and hope for a chance to win that Paige.. Cheers and keep picking. btw did you make it to the Tony Rice Musicfest in Camp Springs last Memorial Day? i saw Josh Williams there and he performed the Church Street Blues Album in it's entirety. what a great weekend.

Thank you Shawn. I have been considering a new capo for a while now. I still use a couple that I bought over 50 years ago. I don't even know what they are called, but I recently saw them while watching The Concert for Bangladesh. I subscribed to Paige on KZbin and liked on Facebook. I hope I did what I needed, I am not too savvy about this stuff and my vision is not too great these days. I always look forward to your videos.

Great review!!! A Paige was the first capo I ever bought myself, I'm going to have to order another. They look even better than they used to! I followed their Paige Musical Facebook, Instagram, and KZbin page.

I've used a Paige Standard for years, it's been a great capo. My D-28CW has the Martin Mod V neck; it's an oblong V, and this capo is flexible enough to accommodate this admittedly odd neck profile. And like Shawn said, the mechanical action of the screw is strong and precise. The Paige Standard is a high standard and the Pro looks like the next capo I should buy.

Funny enough, I've been using a shubb capo for years. I think I have a newer design than the one you were using so it doesn't bite my neck but it constantly knocks my guitar out of tune. I followed Paige on KZbin. I'm kind of old fashioned and I don't use the Facebook or any other social media platforms. I don't feel the need to tell the world what I had for lunch today... always look forward to your videos. J.P.

Great job on the video and your playing. I have been playing guitar since I’m 12 and still playing at 64. I have been using non-coated strings on my acoustics forever and still prefer non-coated for feel and sound. I usually use phosphore bronze but I’ve developed a preference for 80/20 strings. I find the 80/20 strings are a touch less stiff for any given gauge. I’ve been playing D’Addario strings for years. I installed Elixir Nanoweb 80/20 strings 12 to 53 gauge on my Taylor 224ce-K DLX recently and I like the sound after playing them for a while as their brightness kind of tone down a bit. The strings feel nice although I find coated strings somehow feel stiffer. I’m going to try the XS 80/20 strings to see if they feel stiff like the Elixir strings. I am not as much concerned of finger noise when playing, and I don’t mind changing strings often, so I might just stick with non-coated. Thank you for your efforts on the video.

Listen, don't you dare sleep on small-body guitars! These were the "big body" guitars back in the 17/1800s before the dreadnaught was released... that's to say, MANY MANY a concert with these beautiful instruments were held before the big body. They are LION HEARTED!!!!

A very lovely and balanced sounding guitar. It's also interesting to hear different kinds of rosewood and often they sound great. We are so used to standard woods like East Indian rosewood, which is fantastic, but there are numerous other species of rosewood with excellent potential as well they we need to explore. The Panamanian rosewood is a great example of this.

Sounds great but these always seemed to have a bit too much bass without enough cut . Beautiful sounding though and reminds a lot of my 06 D-18 Authentic I had a good while back.
