It's an amazing ship. Getting on is a hassle. They gave us a time to board and said they would not let us in until our time. We were early so we stopped at Starbucks. We git to the terminal the traffic was back up fo a quarter mile to drop off our bags then we hand to stand in a long line for 45 minutes t get on the ship. Most in the line had late boarding times but no one checked. Get there as early as you can. My grandkids parent had a tough time waiting with the kids because they waited for ther 12:30 boarding time

Our time was 11:30. We got their around 11 and the traffic was long to drop off our bags. The parking garage was full and they sent us to a parking lot which was almost full. Not sure where the rest of the cars were parking. The line to get into the terminal was around the building. When we asked what time they were suppose to enter almost everyone's time was after 12:30. We asked if there was a line for 11:30 and were told to just get in the line. It took us over 45 minutes to get inside the terminal. We told thm we are royal carribean diamond members but that didn't help. My one daughter has 2 boys under 5. She got there at her Scheduled time around 12:30. She didn't get in to the ship until almost 3. It was so stressful with kids she was crying when she got to her room. Everything after all that was great. We had an amazing time. Hope you experience is less stressful. Get there early!

Can you upload more pictures. Or video. Yours is great idea. Can you provide details bed measurements
@bobwebb710483 жыл бұрын
Thanks you! The metal bed frame is 2 ft X 6 ft. For the bed surface, I cut 2 feet off the bottom of 4' X 8' sheet of half inch plywood. I used this piece to make the cupholder table. I cut the remaining 4' x 6' plywood in half. I joined the two pieces with a piano hinge so that the 2 ft x 6 ft bed can be opened to 4 ft x 6 ft. Currently I have everything apart and in storage so that I can use the van for babysitting my grandkids. I'm hoping to you use everything this fall to go camping when the weather cools off. If I can get time off babysitting I will take more picture and a video and post them.

You are so talented and creative with both the bed and the sink set up. Can you post the measurements of your sink cabinet? how much do you think it weighs without the water? We need a small movable sink.
@bobwebb710483 жыл бұрын
Its 15 x 15 and 24 inches tall. Not sure how much it weighs but its light enough to move easily. Since the video I added handles on the front and back to make it easy to pick up and move around inside the van or take out side. That's the advantage of using gallon bottles of water. They don't weigh a lot, are easy to replace, I can carry spares or buy them at the store. I wanted to be able to convert the Odyssey into a camper and then back into a family car with no damage to the vehicle.
@stevec38723 жыл бұрын
I've all but finished my 2004 Odyssey no-build build. I've opted for a front/back build with the area from just behind the front seats to the point where the side doors slide open to be completely open. Everything else I need is from that point back. So I can open either sliding door and have plenty of room for anything. In the very back I have a 55 gallon tote, the heavy duty kind with the yellow checkered top which fits perfectly in that spot. If my 3rd row bench was not stuck down I would remove it and that tote would fit perfectly in that spot. Behind the tote on the passenger side I have my tri-fold cot mattress, about 2 foot square. It sits on top of a 2X3 foot cement mixing tub which raises it 8 inches so that raises it enough to make a comfortable seat and recliner when the top section of the cot mattress is raised, every comfortable. Under the tub I have 2 sleeping bags, one to go on the mattress and the other as a blanket. On the driver's side is a 2 foot wide plastic 3 drawer dresser. In front of that is a cooler that fits in the space. So when I arrange the pillows and backrest this is all squared off and I just cover it with a tarp. The passenger seat is moved completely forward to allow for the maximum room for the mattress. When I want to sleep I just remove the tub from under the mattress and set it to the side along with the sleeping bags, unfold the mattress and put the sleeping bags back in place. Both the cooler and the dresser serve as bedside tables. I also have a folding quad chair that easily fits in the open space from behind the front seats to the line where the doors are completely open. Best of all, I can take everything out of the back in minutes and have a van with the back completely open. A no-build build.
@bobwebb710483 жыл бұрын
Sounds great. I haven't had a chance to use my camper yet. I'm still looking at better ways to make it convenient for two people. I designed the camper so that my wife and I can take long weekend trips. We needed a bed wide enough to sleep together but can be folded out of the way when we are not sleeping. The way I have it configured we can access the space from either sliding door. To get extra space we will pull the front seat up as far as they go. There is storage under the bed for storage and 2 folding chairs. We will use an ice chest that will double as a second table. The sink takes up a little space but it is light and can be moved easily.Since we only plan to use it for short trips we will have plenty of space to move aournd inside.
@stevec38723 жыл бұрын
@@bobwebb71048 So far I've only camped out by my house. The advantage of having a no-build build is that I was able to try out a lot of different combinations. I once tried 3 in one week. If I could only get out that 3rd row bench it would add some storage room. I also took out the folding cupholder table between the front seats so I could more easily move from the front seat to the back. Since I never use the armrests I would also like to take them off as well. My biggest concern now that my van is almost at 200,000 is the timing belt job and everything associated with that.
@bobwebb710483 жыл бұрын
Luckily the 2019 rear seats fold down out of the way. It's a pain removing the second row seats. They are heavy and hard to handle but with them out and the front seats moved up there is over 8 feet of space. Since the bed is only 6 ft long that gives me 2 plus feet. The nice thing about it all is that I can easily remove everything with no damage to the car and can convert it back to six seats for my grandkids. We are hoping to try it this spring for short camping trip.

@@bobwebb71048 It's odd that no matter what the year there seem to be few Honda Odysseys that are converted into campers compared to Toyota Siennas for example. I have a neighbor across the street that has a Sienna that is the same color as my Odyssey and they look very much alike.
