It's very fun. It has the charm of a little jank/low budget, but that's what makes it great IMO. It reminds me more of if Fortnite met Killing Floor/L4D. The music is very remiscent of KF too.

I would of liked this if they used the doom remake 4 maps has it look better than the classic as its been enhanced with higher texture. But the ray tracing does make it look a lot better just a shame the look of the maps hasn't been redone to implement how good this ray tracing is for this game with the voxel mod and no new higher textures for the skyboxes. Maybe someday we get a Modder improving the looks without changing the game or adding new stuff and redo the badly look of the blood its much better just to turn it off. Will you be doing a complete full play through on this .

Love it ! Take the follow of the story that I imagine since I saw the borealis boat on snow. I would love to see as episode 3 Gordon the look for Judith and the Borealis on snow and North Pole environnement and the universe of Portal and Half-Life mixed together. And I would love to see the Half-Life 3 series years a head, the final part of the Half Life series where we learn about the G-Man and we fight the combine on Xen with new weapon like the portal gun, and new vehicules and creatures and also a multiplayer mode plyaing as Gordon, Alyx, Barney, the Portal girl (dont know her name) and so on... What do you think ?

Would love to see that. Hopefully Valve makes either EP3 or HL3. Alyx is a sign they're still prepared to create new stories in the universe. Time will tell. :)

Just did over 2000 duriel runs on my clan, i got around 15!!!! Ubers only from that, we only got 1 4ga item (banish lord amulett 44%), 1 Day after my buddy gets a 4 ga melted heart of selig doing whisper runs.. I have done 1 big salvage and created 52 ubers at blacksmith, got 2 out of 52 2GA items, now i have around 43 sparks again, i need that 4 ga shroud of false death man.

Totally at the mercy of the RNG Gods there! I admire your persistance, though. I stopped playing as I'd kind of hit a ceiling with my builds. It stops being fun for me at that point. Still love the game though. Your buddy is a very lucky person!!

@@nicotach5179 dont buy boss runs, we run helltide and collect whispers catches, this season you get so mutch boss materials running helltide. Living Steel is super easy, we traded some against hearts but by the end we did some over 2000 rund just at duriel, and then we did all the runs at varshan and gregoir before, drop rate sucks this season on ubers.

@@adi-gaminginc.support9210 not 20000 runs, just over 2000, and before that we did varshan and gregoir, when you run in a clan and some of the guys you play with dont have Jobs and we all agree to collect as mutch material as we can for almost 2 weeks and then do the runs its quite easy when you run helltide and also doing whisper catches to collect the materials you need to run the uber Bosses.

Yep, any of the Torment levels. You just get better odds of them dropping on higher tiers.

Farming the Tormented bosses is the most common way. Although your luck may vary.

Farm Duriel, so far my Shako and Andariel's visage were all dropped from farming Duriel. Have no drops from any other TBosses, but you have to farm Varshan and Gregoire anyway to farm Duriel.

I come from the future, and I can tell you for certain that this game is not a Killing Floor anymore. They removed Zed time, you can no longer pick up weapons from fallen teammates, they took out the Stalker, added an Overwatch-style interface, and now there are in-game activatable abilities. Matches now have objectives like waiting for rescue, similar to Back 4 Blood. And last but not least, there won't be any perks anymore; they’ll be replaced by character abilities.

Good point on the zedtime and picking up weapons. We've yet to witness them at all. Hopefully they're still in the game. The perks/specialists are dividing the playerbase. We can only see how things turn out on launch.

D4 is in a much better place than launch. Lots of quality of life changes really helps.

Seems like it’s already on its way to being in a similar state of the full version of KF2 and this is just pre alpha. The only thing they did that may seem controversial is the perk rework to specialists.

Ah, been waiting to hear your thoughts on the new info! The gore and overall visual fidelity is leaps and bounds ahead of KF2! While I'm still not keen on characters having assigned perks, I can kind of take solace in knowing we can use weapons from other perks. Anyway I'm stoked about the gameplay! Great analysis, as always, mate. 24:00 - I agree. 😉

I'm getting a sort of 'modern Doom' feeling from all the extra manoeuvrability they're adding, in a sort of "you stop moving, you die" kind of thing. Not that I'm complaining though, I don't think a game has ever been held back by giving players more mobility. Looking forward to KF3!

They could always put a chick in it and make her lame and gay. That might whet Sony's whistle for a sequel. After all the blew $400 million doing tbat on Concorde, I say give Bend a bigger studio and a hundred mill. I bet they could make an open world zombie game with the polish of a rockstar game in an open world. Imagine faction battles, new infected, customizable weapons. A lot of room for a sequel here. Id be just as happy if thry made TLOU 3 open world with the Bend Squad's help.
