You dont need neutral to start the bike up, so long as the Kickstand (some bike have a sidestand Killswitch sensor) isnt down and the clutch lever is pulled in, you can start it.

Did you say 13.000km? 😮 With one set of tyres? I bought them for my 1993 CBR1000F. I hope they will fit for me 🙏🏼 Thanks for your video.
@Projekt119 күн бұрын
Yes, 13000km, I rode it really hard and pushed it to its limits.
@saschagrubw541119 күн бұрын
If they were lasting 13.000km it's ok to let them go and put new ones on. Most sport-touring tyres even last for 5.000-10.000km Was the performance of the mitas better if they were new? I can imagine, your problems with the slippery tyres come from the high millage of 13.000km.

How do you know the radiator flush liquid isnt bad for the thermostat diaphragm? Maybe thats why the manual says 60 not 80
@Projekt126 күн бұрын
I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t harm the thermostat. I havent seen so far a thermostat fail due to using a radiator flush.
@dirkbodschard3961Ай бұрын
If you are in the jungle or desert and don't have proper tools to do the job, it's ok to risk ruining the rims. If I am at home in my garage I would consider to invest at least a little bit of money for some basic tools. The displayed procedure is doable but almost disgusting to look at (from a mechanic view). If you don't have 50$ for tools, then how can you afford to buy new tires?
@Projekt129 күн бұрын
I will not spend on something that will only be used once a year and sit in the garage and take space. If you know and are skilled to do it, there is no risk. That 50$ that you are talking about goes to the cost of a better tire. This a point of view of a skilled diyer and a real rider.

Howdy! First you check the chain for the minimum slack. When you find the point of the minimum slack - if the minimum slack is too big - adjust the chain to the mentioned 25-30 mm. You are doing double job here.

I'm a subscriber of his and had the pleasure of meeting him recently. My rear brakes were locking up on my VFR 800, so I made the trip all the way from Umm Al Quwain to see him. He quickly identified the issue, checked the brake pads, cleaned the brake pistons, and even rebuilt the rear master cylinder-all of which took around 5 hours. Now, my bike is running better than when I first bought it! And the best part? He didn't charge me a single dirham and told me, 'You're my family.' He's the most knowledgeable and kind-hearted person I've ever met. Truly the best!
