*Violence* “The Definitive Key” Firstly, no system can eliminate violence because it is an inherent trait of social progress. The awful truth is that violence is mostly an attribute of the have-nots. Wealth is not always made of gold and silver (these are, in fact, how the early nobility took over the markets by promising protection which was previously just barter with weights, and scales). It is the male prerogative to own the other male (or female). It is also inherent in the construction of humanity to seek a higher level in the overall hierarchy. This is done through the casting of the spirit through the unseen spectrums which causes the possession of the other. This is how the priest or warlock proclaims his place and goes to battle both owning others through their will and causing harm or confusion. A challenge to one's place can sometimes come from a representation of wealth or a previous loss of stature triggering an attack for unseen reasons*. Violence is the substantiation of those with lesser opportunities. By playing the card of death the perpetrator has less to lose and more to gain than the elite. A rich man only plays defense because the world is his. He has no reason for assault except, of course, when his position is challenged or under threat, but instead is constantly on guard. Sometimes a wealthy set will play offense anyway because they feel an overall sleighting**. * The Shining, Overlook Hotel ** Jack the Ripper Note* There are traditionally three aspects of power struggling to override each other. These are information, the nobility, and engineering. -A. Cudwell

Easily the most underappreciated member of Joy Division/New Order. In his second book, he tells the story of enraged fans asking him for a pen so they could run off and get Hooky's autograph. The 'Morris invisibility', as he puts it.

A great film. I anticipated being disappointed before watching but was pleasantly surprised. Great acting and keeping to the truth of the characters (as far as I am aware).

I went to this at the Brixton Academy, it was free to get in. Only went to see New Order and they were, as this shows, pretty darn good.

Transmission probably fit better with the directors image of the film or he wanted to capture all the televised appearances and just combine them into one

I was in there somewhere. Very tiny venue. About 200 crammed in with a few more on the small balcony above. Great venue. Saw many good acts of the 90's in there. Stereolab, Broadcast, Sebadoh, Ariel M, Sparklehorse, The Fall, Clinic, Mogwai
