Hi...I would like to know how is it that you know how big or small the picture has to be on a shirt? Example; an XL shirt won't look nice with a 5x7 picture, right? So how do I know what size of picture/transfer I should put? I hope I made sence. Thanx

Hi there, just been watching your video regarding glitter appliques on the silhouette cameo, on checking my cut settings I don't seem have have any of the glitter t-shirt settings on mine, all I have is printable heat transfer for light and dark materials. Not sure how you get the settings that you have?

I created my own pre-set settings based on what was supplied by the distributer of of the materials. For this Siser Glitter HTV I use Blade 4, Spped 5, Thickness 10.

Great idea! Thanks for sharing. Would it not have been better to line up your letters on top of your negative and use a transfer carrier sheet on top to transfer then iron that wherever you want?

Can you use iron on vinyl as decals for helmets?

Iron-on is for fabric, I use outdoor grade adhesive vinyl for helmet decals on plastic helmets. I haven't tried the suede-like helmets.

The glitter I have, purchased from the two companies I've listed above, cuts fine at: Speed - 5, Thickness - 10, Blade Depth - 4, with a Double Cut. Remember to check Cutting Mat box if you're using a mat. If you're having issues beyond that, I'd try a different blade and then contact Silhouette, or the company you purchased the glitter from.

Hi All! Just saw all the comments! I'm using GlitterFlex Ultra from Heat Transfer Warehouse and also Siser Glitter from Expressions Vinyl. They are pretty similar as far as I can tell.

Well, I am not sure if I bought the wrong glitter vinyl (It looks just like yours) but I am having a terrible time. I bought a Silhouette Cameo - I was SO excited - this is really the *only thing* I really want/need to do !! I actually ended up setting the blade to 10 and finally it cut the darn letters but still not perfectly. Your video gives me some hope. But I haven't been this frustrated in some time! Do you think my machine is defective? Blade is @ 10 - locked into place ("fin" forward)
