That list round set up is money. Some how that needs to be implemented into the regular season in the round robin way that it is here. Lot of tension gets built up.

Final round is so pointless lol. Maybe the contestant can throw a couple topics into the ring to make it more interesting. Clearly this is modeled after Stump the Schwab which I like a lot but obviously the geniuses will win if you have to pick their topics.
