Be handy when we have glasses that we wear on our face that can show us the screen instead of squinting at a little tv..I have to bring reading glasses to make sure its in focus....with a differnet design, the rear screen cud maybe go all together and reduce cost or add new features...a phone adaptor might work letting us use all the phones editing features and a big zoom screen

i found spiders who live between the cracks of the wood fence, they are large, but can flatten themselves...the joy of macro....you see things u never knew existed '')

I just watched this video & want to give it a go in the upcoming days! I don’t have the same RGB lights as you do, but I have a light for my plants that’s RGB with movable “arms” so thought I’d try that. Don’t have any frames atm, but just remembered that I have one glass shelf I’m not using for my fridge so I’m thinking I could try using that? 😊

I tend to put the camera on the table but use beanbags on a table mat, it's an easier set up than a tripod. I'll use the focus ring to get 'into the zone' but slide the table mat for fine-tuning. Distance seems to be better for focus. My wife bought me four small ones, I use one for the body and one or two to aim the lens. Merry Christmas, and thanks for all of your inspiration

Your method #2 was a real eye opener for me. Hi speed continuous shooting while moving the camera forward was a great idea! I was so excited that my Sony A7iv upgraded via firmware recently with in body focus bracketing but it only takes a pic every second at the fastest giving my subject too much time to move before I get enough in focus shots.

Drs blame everything on weight…i admit i am big, but i see people bigger than me every day. There have been numerous fat people throughout history… we all come in different shapes and sizes and it is discriminating against people to refuse healthcare because they are fat. Most people look better with a bit of fat on them. When peeps get skinny enough to satisfy the doctors bmi algorithm they look haggard and gaunt.

Hi Stewart! I have been following you for quite some time and have learned a great deal from you. I don't own any type of pf full frame or mirrorless camera. I do own a Panasonic Lumix FZ10002 Bridge Camera and just bought the Sony RX10M4. I live in Japan and in summer have many opportunities to film spiders in the wild, and my two favorite spiders are the Jumping spider, and the Crab spider. WE have a bright yellow flower here in Japan that the Crab Spiders absolutely love because its a perfect camouflage for them. I suggest based on the color of your common wild crab spiders, that you try to find a plant that matches their color, or at least that flowers their color. This will give them camouflage and attract the bees and insects to the flowers....Where they will become.... dinner! Cheers!

Disappointing video you promoting something that has no relevance to your expertise.
@StewartWoodArt14 күн бұрын
That’s a disappointing comment. According to you, no one can try something new or explore outside their main area of expertise. I believe creativity and growth come from stepping outside the usual boundaries.

@ I agree I am primarily a wildlife photographer I took up macro because of your videos. I bough the same setup as you because of the respect I have for your abilities. This video is you making money out of your viewers we would respect your opinion and that opinion isn’t professional in this case. This isn’t a hate message it’s me ONE OF YOU SUBSCRIBERS being disappointed with your decision to sell yourself out for money.
@StewartWoodArt14 күн бұрын
Thank you for sharing your perspective, and I appreciate your honesty. I completely understand that my content may not always align with everyone’s expectations. I do take partnerships carefully, ensuring the products I feature are relevant in some way to my work or could benefit my audience. Trying something new doesn’t mean I’ve ‘sold out’-it’s part of growing as a creator and photographer. I’m also really enjoying exploring toy photography, and more of that will be coming to the channel while I wait for the insects to emerge in spring. I hope you’ll stick around to see what’s next!

@petertown9467 wow very strong words I just watched the video I feel you are missing the point. This is a review you take it or leave. I think it is good to bring something new to the table and if he is making money out of it then good for him you can't feed your family on fresh air we all need money to make the world go round. Happy days as normal a great video
