Hi! No, database login management cannot be handled directly through PAM. For example, our solution is designed to work with individual applications. While it is possible to deploy PAM on a server hosting a database management solution, our control over that application would only be at a global level and not specific to its internal functionalities. Do phased patch roll outs. Do a subset of users first then the rest if there are no incidents. E.g. Schedule the roll out for the subset of user on Tuesday afternoon and the rest on Thursday. If you get failure reports on Wednesday then interrupt the schedule.

Good info, but perhaps you could also inform people to use the 1.1.1.2 and 1.0.0.2 IP addresses as DNS servers to get that protection you mention in the video. For those who are unaware, those servers are ran by Cloudflare, one of the largest companies on the Internet (traffic-wise).
