At 0:05 you can see Bob turned his head slightly to the left just before Adam hit him with the tray to minimize the damage to his head and avoid a possible concussion. If my memory serves correctly, the occipital part of the skull ( the back part) is second hardest part of the skull while the hardest is the frontal lobe.

I passed CPR three times in three different school years. That is not the proper method. He said he took a CPR class. He would know that you open the airway first and give two quick breaths. Then for an adult you alternate between five chest compressions and two breaths.
