Hey man I like this video in principle but I have a note: people like HBomberGuy in spite of the cringe, not because of it. If you’re going to try to emulate him you need to match the effort and quality, not just the millennial lolXD funnyguy humour.

This is my first time ever watching you and I have to say that I would totally binge watch your videos. If all you ever did was try to imitate an American accent. That was brilliant! So entertaining, lol! That part aside, I really appreciate your perspective and really enjoyed this whole video. I think you should do a whole channel or a whole segment. That is just you taking American movie clips and trying to imitate the accent.

Maybe I just don’t get it because superheroes do absolutely nothing for me, but I have never seen the ‘Marvel cinematic universe’ as anything other than a moneymaking ploy. It’s like, oh you want to see this big event movie everyone is going to be taking about? Better make sure you did your homework and saw the preceding eight films. Obviously this isn’t super fair of me and I recognize a lot of artistry went into making these films and their connections work. I’ve tried to watch them, but they’re really not for me, I just can’t get into them.

The problem is the KZbin business model. It runs on volume and super skinny margins so human content made by genuine paid people can never make a profit. KZbin could easily use AI to spot the AI trash and take it down in seconds, but the ads on trash content earn them money, even if they are demonetized so they will never get serious about taking them down. KZbin is a great free hosting and delivery service, but it's just a crap place to make money for genuine creators.

Not adding the shows to your watch list in an utter failure on your part... the shows lead in/tie to the movies in a great way. one comment on the video as a whole.... you're missing a LOT of nuance. No, Marvel isn't perfect, but yeah, you missed a lot of subtext...

The accents in " in the heat of the night " tv show sound authentic to me. If you are looking for real or real sounding accents, that might be a good start. My grandfather sounded like Chief Gillespie who headed the police department in the fictional town of Sparta Mississippi. The show was filmed near Atlanta Georgia but got lots right about living in a small town. These small towns can become what is called bedroom communities because lager cities less thsn 100 miles away offer good paying jobs. If this happens, the small town becomes more like a suburb of a larger city. Accents are often mangled on tv productions. Of course, being from the USA amd living where I live, if UK accents are inaccurate, I wouldn't know.

Still periodically buying physical media gang! I've bought CDs as recently as this year (also still buy the occasional movie or show on DVD/Blu Ray) I have genuinely discovered some great music and artists through Spotify recommendations over the years, but I do feel the recommendations getting gradually less helpful recently, and I haven't even touched the AI generated stuff on the platform, mostly for my own broader misgivings about its GenAI's usage, but feel vindicated to know they are garbage too

After agreeing so heavily with your arguments for the last 40 minutes, I'm struggling to rectify that you actually liked "Infinity War." It was, to my mind, such a terrible movie that I actually stopped watching the mcu entirely after I saw it. The main villain has such a laughably stupid motive for his actions that it struck me as being a repeat of "Age of Ultron," and the opening cinematic killing off the entire population of Asgard as well as all the characters and subsequently character growth from "Ragnarok," not only set me up in a sour mood for the film, but also reduced the lasting impact of that film to the terrible execution that made people so heavily disapprove of "Love and Thunder." We had an opportunity for growth, and it had to be killed off and recycled in the name of a film schedule that has less to do with making good movies and more to do with making as many movies in as little time as possible.

This is why I have always used Apple music. Spotify has always felt scummy. Not letting people choose what songs they want to play and putting an ad after every song unless you pay for premium? I rather they be up front with it and ask for a payment automatically instead of pretending that the free option is real. Apple isn't a good company but they aren't annoying the hell out of people until they pay money to stop getting ads. Seriously the only reason to pay for premium is because the free version is horrible. Not being able to skip songs? Wft I get it if you don't have money, but you can use KZbin music. Anything is better than Spotify. Maybe I'm being dramatic but I really hate Spotify and I'm so happy people are talking about this. I'm sick of this app.

I tried Spotify for a while after buying a new phone. Up until then, I'd relied on KZbin rips for over 10 years. One day, the app logged me out automatically and I couldn't be arsed to log back in. I never spent any money on it, because I refuse to pay for any service that intrusively advertises itself.

Me that still listen to the same artists as over ten years ago.. I bought a CD this year and it’s still cheaper than paying for Spotify every month :D .. besides, they’re probably too indie to get paid much if anything by Spotify, lots of smaller label artists spoke out about it from the beginning. Plus. It’s just nice to have a physical copy even if you ruin it by ripping the CD to mp3s for easier portability (still have a portable CD player and while it might be considered a relic from a bygone era, it works!). How else would I get reminded of that weird time when I was listening to visual kei if not when going through my albums..? 👀 I just like what I like and sometimes it’s popular and sometimes it’s more obscure, sometimes it’s not as good as the old stuff but that’s what you have the old albums for, and sometimes bands go back more into a sound that tickles your brain just right because evolving over the years as an artist is a normal part of the creative process. (I just write.) Or you’re like Deathstars and release an album after ten years since the last one and it’s so similar that people feel like it’s nostalgic and that’s cool too, did end up playing it on repeat for months so it does seem to have tickled my brain in the right way Usually find new music pretty randomly, like a good way to get out to new people is still if you manage to get your song played in an advert for a festival because those are the only ads that I seek out rather than get annoyed at and I’ve even bought entire back catalogs for bands I found that way. Even if I can’t go I’m still curious about who’s playing 👀

Hey, tonxy regressing in iron man 2, makes a lot of sense actually, like Tony is a flawed person and really afraid to die and regresses. People can gegress espoecxially the like an addict played tony. Its maybe pragmatic too but Tony regressing is great there for his character. i just hate that 3 make him look less aholish. Oh and i like thor, loki the movie is great. plus actual not zany thor? thors gang is fun i guess too

My way is giving myself a cd allowance equal to a spotify account (on a yearly basis). Buy second hand and watch your collection grow!! You can rip cds and put the mp3s on your phone. Whenever you get sick of what you own you turn on the radio. And when you hear something you like you buy their album :3

It's all good on KZbin but I think some tv style shows would be great for adding variety and it's saves me money to pay for ad free monthly service, only $10 a month, total game changer! I hate paywalls, but so far I can't see how I can get around those. Ad free premium KZbin is great!

The fact that the search function on this site doesn't work. Or any of the filters for recent content on whatever you're searching, it's just the most popular stuff even if it's something 7 years old and of course has more views because it's older and something completely unrelated. The enshittification of it all.

I lost it at the American accent bit. It's actually super solid and always falls apart just a little at the end of your sentences. Kind of makes for this strangely engaging ride of story telling. Like is this guy real or pretending? At what? Who knows? Isn't that just this whole video? Does the accent attempt encapsulate the entire point? Is this too meta? Anyways, awesome stuff.

Man...Ive had my channel for a little over 3 years, I play, un-edited, live recorded, full length, one take, all original, instrumental metal songs for guitar and drums, using my guitar. I post on average a new video around every 2 weeks, consistently. After I upload a video, I always immediately, do some self promo by creatng posts with a short descriptive statement and the link to my channel featuring the new song. For nearly 2 years I have been doing this, and yes the quality of the music and performance is more than adequate to be considered competent if not outright good guitar playing. Yet I only have 175 subs and my videos usually have about 100 views within the first 3 days. I Play and record my guitar not for views or likes, but because I love playing and sharing my creations. That being said, I would be lying if I said that i am not at all a bit disappointed that the channel itself isnt gaining as much traction as I had thought. Is it too niche, is the video quality not good enough, is my like minded community small, is my music bad? Im sure all of these variables have some influence on the channel to some small degree but not a significant amount to be sure. Maybe im not uploading to enough different platforms, maybe my social networking could be better, maybe its the way i titled each video when I first started. Im not sure why my videos stall in views after about 2-3 weeks. Idk. One thing I am sure about however is that no matter how bad the channel performs it wont stop me from doing what I love. Sorry for the novel just needed an outlet to rant for minute. Any and all comments and criticisms are welcome, good or bad. Thank you for your time and attention and may you have wonderful week ahead of you.

@15:40 But to play devil's advocate: 5.8 million streams is not really comparable to album sales. Especially since each album contained about 10-15 songs, not to mention that Deezer says my most played songs of the year (so, the kind of content I'd actually consider spending money on) had about 50 streams each. That brings the number down a bit.
