I remember one of the first times I saw you in a group playing music I can’t remember the other band member but it was a fund raiser for a Hawaiian Kumu returning from Japan and wanting to to start a Halau in Hawaii. A guy got up on the stage who couldn’t sing while your group had finished your set and the poor guy was horrible. Everybody in the audience was getting upset and people started leaving pretty embarrassing. You got up from your groups table where you were eating, walked on the stage with the base and joined the poor guy in singing. You actually made him sound good finished the set and the fund raising concert went on in great success.😊

I had the pleasure of being in Kamaka Kukona's Halau o'ka hanu lehua when I lived in Hawai'i so amazingly i got to hear them sing this live in rehearsal all the time. My absolute all time favorite Hawaiian song! He tore this up!❤
