I never thought i’d like the 26” so much!

I have this exact martini kit and I have been so thoroughly impressed with it! Definitely running the kick through a sub makes a world of difference. But the toms are simply delightful to play

18" and 20" sounced close, 22" clearly had more resonance. Would have been nice if we were told if there were any dampening put in the kicks

8 lugs feels way better. Had a Ludwig rocker steel snare growing up and it had 8 lugs 14x6.5 and I somehow liked it better than my supra

i own this kit minus the extra high tom, i love it

DW the most overrated drums in the World.

The important thing here is the 14 inche depth. Longer depth gives you more attack but lesser bottom end. Old drum kits in the 50s and 60s got it right.

That is the best finish dw has made on this series

Why are you tuning your snares to two different hz i was always taught that drums are supposed to be tuned to the same settings top & bottom because it puts uneven stress on the shell and when recording will cause a drum to sound warped especially when both sides are micd! Is that untrue because its been taught to me by some very famous drummers who've been playing for over 1/2 century!

like the others said, stopped by for the mics, stayed for the drummer... who are you, where is your channel?

I like either shallow or deeper toms. They both have their place. However when it comes to the 10" tom, I feel the 7" standard depth (or more shallow) sounds too thin. Gotta be an 8x10. JMHO. Great video!

Obviously the 26” sounds the best. I never liked the way the 26” or 24” felt, but love their sounds. The heads were always too “floppy”, in my opinion.

In prep for buying a new kit soon, over the last few years I have listened to close to 100 sound demo videos. None of them can touch this video. Thanks for minimizing how much you used the ride and crash cymbals. It made it so much easier to hear the drums.🎉🎉🎉

I love SONOR, but their finishes leave quite a bit to be desired. Among the options, the plain white is the best looking IMO.

I'm going to get a double kick kit with 10", 12", 13" racks and 16", 18" floors. Haven't decided on the kick yet, most likely 20" so I don't have to sit really high. Great vid!
