Brilliant title for the story of these two strong characters!!! The acting of Gates McFadden was probably the reason why I watched all this in the past and it's much more in the present.

Fantastic, that you gave us to watch this in that way! I really liked that you put the past in black and white and the present in color. I felt that it's not only because of the different times, but also because the present is much more "colorfull" especially for Beverly Crusher, who can know show so much more of her character.

Honestly, Beverly Crusher should never have been in Starfleet. And neither should Trip Tucker, Leonard McCoy, and B' lana Torres (mostly because I think she's the most unlikable character in the whole friggin franchise!).

waa you've succeeded perfectly in putting into images this relationship that I felt when I was watching TNG so many years ago, but which the producers at the time only touched on because it wasn't the tone of the moment. If the series were released today, the writing would be totally different! And maybe we'd have had a more established romance, served by two very talented actors, of whom Gate mcFadden was very underused at the time. Beautifull video. Thanks to you for this realisation. I completely agree with you! (Nice video by the way!👍🏻🤩) There were definitively too little PC moments in NextGen. I know, according to All Good Things they marry eventually in an alternative timeline. But that's not enough. I like Picard S3 and they having a son together, but I miss at least a hug or a sincere conversation between the two.
