SessRin, and I’m mad Kagura died. I think he admired & respected Kagura. For her desire to betray Naraku which he certainly didn’t have a problem w/. For having the guts to yell at him “you call yourself a man?!” Nobody ever talked to him like that lol. He knew she liked him but he didn’t like her in that way. He wished her the best & they prob would have ended up good friends. Her death was so incredibly wrong & sad💔and he obvs didn't want her to die & was so angry that she did. That “I knew it was you” was a nod to her feelings for him, imo. But the ultimate thing is: She, though having her heart back at the end, was still a thing from his worst enemy. She, while determined & gutsy, was still not Rin. Sesshomaru didn't need another firm hand. And he wouldn't have put up for long in future temper tantrums she’d have when she didn't get her way, reducing an argument calling into question his manhood. Opposites attract and no one is more opposite to Sesshomaru than Rin. He needed a soft gentle person & he waited for her to grow up ❤️.

Yashahime feels like an insult even if Rumiko intended for Sesshoumaru to end up with Rin. I hated that ship it felt so wrong boardering pedophilia and incest despite the sengoku period worked differently. I feel like they were building up Sesshoumaru x Kagura to be a thing. Then to have Setsuna have wind powers feels like a jab to the heart salt to an open wound.. a reminder to those who liked the Sesshoumaru x Kagura ship that we could never have because of Rumiko screwing it up.

Rumiko was actually also uncomfortable about Rin x Sesshomaru ship and explained in an interview that Sesshomaru and Rin were actually like a family. Also the new Inuyasha series in not considered canon since Rumiko isn't involved in the writing of the storyline or anything else. She only helped designing the characters and there looks. That's it

I'm currently doing an else world RP of this being a thing where Setsuna is the daughter of Sesshoumaru x Kagura half wind demon and half dog demon and Towa is Shippo x Rin''s daughter making her half fox demon. I hate a lot of The Final Act killing Kagura was the worst offense and then to give Setsuna wind powers was salt to an already open wound.

My favourite ship of Inuyasha! <3 I love them together so much. I was so sad when Kagura died, she didn't deserve it and she was a character that had the potential to add interesting things to the story. Her natural destiny was to survive and to join Sesshomaru's team in my opinion, her death was too cruel... :-(

@@urayademour8246 Yes, at least Sesshomaru was there during Kagura's final moments of life and she knew that he went there just to save her so she realized that Sesshomaru cared for her but it wasn't enough for me. I was really disappointed that she didn't survive. T_T
