My only guess is the guy has literally never seen a Shyvana and so is playing with caution xD EDIT: I can confirm that for you actually because he builds cloth armour first so he literally has no idea that Shyvana actually deals mostly magic damage.

Nope you would get first blooded :D, shyvana has press the attack and bone plating + ignite, there is no way even darius beats it these aas with fireball effect chunk alot.

The team doesn't really have any armour stackers. While going AP is fine, it was probably up to preference.

it is indeed about preferences + no matter how you build shyv your dmg are still around 60% ap

You can build anything on shyvana but there’s no need, look how fancy she already is building ap, you can build lissandrys and spear of shojin and you’ll be tanky af
