I would hope someday that the Bronx Chamber of Commerce would address quality of life issues effecting small businesses like crime, high rents and specific state agencies that are supposed to help entrepreneurs get to the next level.

I see you’re latina too. Our countries are full of street vendors. They bring filth. They bring down real state value . They create an unfair competency against businesses that do pay all licensing and taxes! They create an underworld economy where mafia and thugs get money from them. They take over sidewalks and streets. Sanitary conditions are never good. Nothing!! They do is a positive thing.

Provided vendors maintain hygienic conditions and such there shouldn’t be a problem, as long as both sides use common sense all should be fine, all will not be fine because I can guarantee both sides will not use common sense either both or one will be let down by the other

If property wasn’t so difficult to own or rent there wouldn’t be this kind of stuff but until that changes these communities need to let them do there thing. Gives the community flavor, most retail stores are shit these days anyways

Sad state about the street vendors but lots of people have lost their jobs or means of making an income and have to find a way to earn a living. Maybe those stores need to set up a kiosk on the outside instead of sitting inside looking out.
