Oh, it's actually not that I want to vent or preach. There are a lot of factors involved but one of the biggest things is how we've known for a long time that positive reinforcement is far more effective than negative reinforcement, whereas negative reinforcement can instead cause resentment and even more push back. All the angry yelling is making us socially regress compared to the more effective progress that we made through the 90's and early millennia. I also think in being over protective of the children, maybe my fellow Gen X'ers forgot to pass some things down that were part of the plan for making a better world. Plus most people can agree that we need to be understanding of each other, but then they usually only end up concentrating on one group that they think is the most needy and can end up persecuting others that they judge to have more and could stand to give or go without in favor of others. There's so much to it, but yeah, it needs to be organized so I can try to say it all hopefully positively and effectively. The best way is for everyone to try to be a decent person so that everyone can see all the people of different races, genders, etc. being capable, hard working, nice and that proves the invalidity of things like racism and sexism.

@@TheDirili OK, I wasn't too sure what you meant in the video but I agree with what you're saying here. It seems like a big task to gather all these ideas and put out a positive message. I'd be interested to hear what you have to say on the matter since I'm in my 20's. I can't imagine growing up in today's climate because if feels like my niece lives in a different world sometimes lol. I also want to say that I think social media has definitely made people worse. It feels like people are much meaner and more critical now than ever before. Everyone is locked into cliques for every interest or hobby and there's always drama. Curious what your thoughts are and a video on how you stay positive would be interesting. Now more than ever, I think it's valuable to know how you navigate social media and stay positive would be interesting to hear.
