We have lost exactly zero sleep about what he had to say. We just get to razz him if he gets to razz us. See how that works? The reality is Billie doesn't need a sea of fans coming to his defense. Billie Joe did another Billie Joe thing because he's super edgy and a crazy wacky "punk rocker," where the only thing that remains to be truly "punk" is his mouth on occasion. He'll be back with the band in the city he hates to collect. It'll be a When We Were Young or a tour or a corporate gig for a bunch of suits. But he'll be back. All we do know is we are in the business of making people laugh, smile and feel. We did that on the radio, and looking at this video we got a lot of engagement. So, our job is done here :)

"you don't have to defend las vegas in any way" it is literally our home. we don't care about your outside perspective. if you've only stepped foot on las vegas boulevard you have zero idea what the city is and why over 2 million people call it home. we aren't being dramatic. we are being humorous and calling him a hypocritical goon for saying it. it sucks so much that he and his band play corporate gigs in town, and he was just in town last year playing private shows and when we were young. if it sucks, don't come here and make money. if someone that makes a ton of money in your town or city talked sh*t about it, we are assuming your first thought would be "if you hate it so much, don't come back". that's where we stand. we have gambling, as does most places at this point. we also have world class performers, incredible nature and hikes, incredible restaurants, a decent cost of living and more. we like it here. we'll defend it.

agreed the strip has become super corporate over the years. for example, green day comes here and plays private corporate gigs and makes absolute bank doing so. so he hates it here and pretends he's against authority, but comes here and plays for major corporations. hmm. off the strip, some of the best restaurants and hiking you can find. its a great place to live.
