I watched the game live and to this day regularly watch the highlights to one of the greatest football matches I’ll ever witness……2024 and this is the first time I’ve heard this radio commentary and it still gives me goosebumps!

i think, this commentators were more emotional than the whole crowd inside Anfield..i cant hold my tears of happiness after the final whistle...

I bought a plane ticket to Madrid straight after this game. Had no idea how I'd get a match ticket but I got one through a friend of a friend through Barcelona football club and Boom... I was at the final. But the Barca semi was game of the century...

Still the greatest game I have ever seen .. the whole mentality and strength and belife..

People forget the context because the result itself is unbelievable, but when you consider that Liverpool were missing a peak Bobby Firmino and Mo Salah when they needed to score goals, when you consider that Liverpool were in the middle of an epic title race with the best Man City team ever, and the night before City scored a relatively late winner against Leicester to go back top of the league to break Liverpool hearts, and when you consider this was a Barcelona team that won La Liga and finished 19 points ahead of Real Madrid, and had a team containing Messi, ex-Reds Suarez and Coutinho, Busquets, Alba, Pique, and ter Stegen, only then can you comprehend the enormity of what Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool achieved this night.

listening to this just before klopp’s final game in charge. after istanbul, i thought that i’d never see days like it again. but i did. and it’s all thanks to klopp. i am not ready to say goodbye to him. all i can say is: thanks for creating memories that will live with me until my dying day and then echo on forever and ever.
