You probably just look at the title and just assume the video was me slandering the game but in reality 3/4 of the video was me praising the game up until the gameplay portion but it don't matter BT2 clears by a mile.

Appreciate the interaction Eddie. My apologize if the title is a bit aggressive but that's how I feel about the game and you can agree or disagree. Bt1 is a very mediocre game compare to the other games in the series and since your a KZbinr yourself and a reaction channel at that you understand how SEO and how important titles/thumbnail have to have cohesion with another and I decided to poke the bear and I rather be honest than to beat around the bush. Love the series but BT1 was a rough start to something beautiful. 👍

Despite all the DBZ games that have come out over the years, BT1 has the most badass and authentic Intro of all of DBZ games of the Franchise. BT2 and BT3 in my opinion still remains the most Unique and the best DBZ games in terms of content, quality and fanservices. And from the gameplay perspective aspects, these DBZ games that I mentioned are very close to the anime itself because of the Vibe and Charm, I don't know how to describe it but it was, and still is the most Unique DBZ experience you could have with the combat factor. (- Sheer amount de of characters - Transformations mid-battle (powering up and down) - Fusions mid-battle - Fast gameplay that has that "woah" feel - Tons of extra content - Story mode covering all sagas + movies - What If sagas - Shenron having permanent impact on game (character unlocks and whatnot) - Great tournaments that rotate availability - Edit characters with items (buffs) - 5v5 battles - Really Great and Epic Soundtracks - Destroyable environments - Entire stages could be blown up into their "destroyed" alternatives - Mission 100 being a great challenge - Artwork is 10/10 - Sound effects are great - Combat feels heavy and satisfying) Only Budokai 3, Infinite World and the Raging Blast 1 and 2 and all of PSP DBZ games except of Dragon Ball Z Evolution are still considered also very solid DBZ games, also the hidden gem that a lot of DBZ fans missed from PS2 Era of DBZ games is "Super Dragon Ball Z" which is also a real Unique and DBZ game, especially for the different gameplay aspects perspective.

From the bottom of heart thank you Zenos for doing my favorite Dragon Ball Z Game of all time justice with editing and presentation with this video. Not only was this game a HUGE step up in every department music, gameplay, story, etc it was also the first Tenkaichi I really learned how to actually play and dive into this game had so much depth that people didn't realize and I hope for Dragon BallSparking Zero people really go into more of learning how the mechanics actually work and the competitive scene taught me even more things I didn't even realize like flanking, movement tech, counter tech etc this game had EVERYTHING! Its why I was upset when Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 came out since they took away some movement tech and counter tech even though they added things to game to have it more redifined. Can't wait for Dragon Ball Sparking Zero next week.

I really loved that starting a fresh new game, it feels barebones with only basic villains and saiyan saga characters unlocked at first. You would have to play the storymode to gradually unlock them overtime making us want to come back and keep on playing.........unlike Tenkaichi 3 where the story is barebones and most of the characters are already unlocked......when I owned it, I completed storymode and that was it......there was nothing else to do.....hated the tournaments had a random day cycle......still.....I wish we got the Japanese version of Tenkaichi 2 with the extra stage and characters like King Piccolo, Frieza Soldier and Pilaf Machine etc......

Bt2 is my first and favorite Budokai tenkaichi game. I love BT3 for the extra characters and some of the new game mechanics but I enjoyed playing 2 so much, from the story mode, the z item fusion and leveling up characters. BT1 I played after I played 2 and 3 so it was obviously a step down for me but I liked it back then, hate it now

0:35 Don't compare tenkaichi/sparking to fighting games. At most, compare them to arena fighters like ninja storm or something...
@zenossaki
@zenossaki Ай бұрын
Arena fighters are a sub genre of fighting games big dawg. Just like how fighting games are categorized into traditional fighters,anime fighters,platform fighters, and etc. Also, I didn't compare Tenkaichi to any other traditional fighter. I simply said "as someone who loves dragonball and the fighting game genre" End of the day it's categorized as a fighting game whether you like it or not. 😅

@@zenossaki fair, and in my defense, i hadn't gotten to the rest of the video(hence the time stamp). Especially since most who do compare them to traditional fighting games like SF or tekken don't fully understand the fundamental differences(like the recent gameology video)

@@zenossaki don't get me wrong, I have watched around half of this video already, I'll watch the rest and part 2 later, but so far, I agree and understand most of what you've said.
