Might be worth considering removing the mirror and using a photo backdrop instead. The trade off of the highway looking a bit awkward at the backdrop would be more than offset by not seeing Devil’s slide reflected in the mirror. You could also use a tree line at the front of the highway to hide the transition to the backdrop as well.

The LokProgrammer is definitely worth the investment. I get a TON of use out of mine! I also prefer ESU LokSound over anything else due to the customization you have with it.

How much faster is it compared to using jmri?
@RichardOpaluch-pj3rv10 сағат бұрын
@@EvanstonSub Daryl, I’ve honestly never used JMRI before but was interested in checking it out. ESU’s LokProgrammer takes about 30-40 minutes to load up a sound file and update firmware if needed. Sound files can be downloaded from the ESU website unless you have custom files. Let me know if you have any more questions 😁

I have my Loksounds set up so one function turns on the head light, another the ditch lights (operates front and rear if the respective headlights are on). One more dims the lights and turns off the ditch lights. Once a train is set up you only need the dim function for meets, running in yards etc. It is the only lighting function set up in my withrottle game controllers.

Could be worth buying a Lokprogrammer so you can buy blank decoders and put in the required sounds. Also good for updating decoders with the latest firmware or sounds, the original SD70ACE project didn't sound good, but the updated project sounded far better.

I happened to be one of the first few that tuned in when you were having the initial glitch/problem. Was sorry to see Roy Smith pass away. You probably knew him since he was modeling the same area, but in N Scale and he had a bedroom layout. He had supply issues from time to time since he was living in Panama. I have enjoyed both layouts and after being away from the hobby for 30 years, I hope to get my track plan completed and benchwork up going in my 13’ by 22’ area of my basement soon. How do you live stream? Our train club is interested in live streaming form a camera car. 2ndly I noticed you only use a 2 digit (short) address, is the any benefit over the 4 digit (long) address for your locos. I look forward to your KZbin release every week.

For your camera car use screencast. This mode will let you stream whatever is on your phone screen or whatever is on your pc desktop. Best consisting method is decoder based advanced consisting. I will take the Genesis over the “normal” version. 70 Dollars for more details and more weight etc. If I want to upgrade the model it would probably take me hours. Or I just work one hour and make the 70 dollars I otherwise saved. At the end time is money!
