Honda has been making motorcycles for a long time, dude. There's a model out there for everyone and for whatever you want to do. And they obviously don't know what they're doing??? Nope! Wrong! You should do your homework first.

It’s THE BEST SELLING motorcycle in the world, dude! Very versatile. I've been using one for 20y, compared it to other bikes, and it has never disappointed me. Adjust your engine-speed to match your wheel-speed before re-engaging the clutch and enjoy plenty of engine-braking downhill. It's beautiful. Also, you can get heavier after-market barweights to reduce the vibes even more (the heavier, the better).

Absolutely hilarious video. Learn to ride. Learn how to change gears. After 100 million bikes sold. They Do know what they are doing. It's you that does not. And the key lock - unlock, all that does by pressing for red Light turns the key off. Not lock the bike. The saying "all the gear an no idea", springs to mind.

You've never ridden a motorcycle then if you are throwing it into gear at too high of an rpm, you can coast it to a stop in 4th, so I don't know what you are doing.

Just blip the throttle when you downshift and it's smooth as butter. Or downshift at very low speeds. The bike doesn't have any fault regarding your lack of skill.

Cannot disagree more! These are the best Bikes ever made! (Sold how many?) I owned several when I was a kid, raced them through the woods with my mates on their C90's! Learn how to use the semi clutch and the ride experience will be a whole lot better! I'm saving some pennies to treat myself to a brand new one of these to commute on and have a little fun too!

This guy actually makes sense; I did the same on my Cub shifting down from 4th to 3rd which caused the bike to jerk and feel the back wheel lock a bit due to high rpm shifting down. It is actually a mistake. Slowdown if you're shifting down. Match the engine revs to your gear. Down shifting while you're revving high or running fast is a stupid idea - applies to any other motorcycle. I also tried engine braking going down a step parking area - guess what - motorbike was high revving going down and causing it to jerk. Another driving mistake. If you want to free wheel going down a steep hill, either go from 3rd or 2nd. Do not do engine braking while going down fast. Basic motorcycle skill - never downshift when your engine rev is high. It is common sense. Just learn your riding skills basics and practice.

You need to learn the bike. When you heel down from say 4th to 3rd you need to keep the pedal pressed, blip the throttle to match the revs then let it up. It takes practice but it works & these bikes are ace.

If you want this bike with a regular clutch, get a gram that’s what a gram is same motor and it works perfectly fine. If you use it correctly I have had no problems a whole metric. Crap ton of other people also haven’t that’s the most sold vehicle ever don’t downshift when you’re not supposed to for too soon and you’ll be fine.

Sounds like you just don’t have the rpm’s matched with the gear your shifting to, even if your driving a clutch bike you are gonna lock the wheel up if you are too high and you don’t slow down and release the clutch; it sounds like you are used to a traditional hand clutch system and this bike will be a bit counter intuitive for you, I have a 2019 super cub and part of the beauty of it is that you can just stop regardless of the gear and it won’t stall, the bike is designed so that you don’t have to be switching gears like crazy, it has a wider range in the higher gears and is made for you to use the brakes to slow and just take off with the throttle vs needing to do lots of shift work, most of the time your going to be in 3rd or 4th gear even when your going relatively slow, Honda has designed bikes around this clutch system since the 1950s if it was inherently dangerous it wouldn’t be the best selling vehicle of all time

You are making a big to do over nothing. You just need to practice riding it more. There is nothing dangerous or difficult about shifting this thing. Admittadly, it was a bit strange at first riding without a manual clutch. I have been riding motorcycles for a long time. At any rate, I love this scooter. I do find the proximity key both unnecessary and a bit annoying.

You only don't like riding it because you don't know what you are doing, and you don't know what you are talking about. I have driven many manual vehicles for many years. Any simpleton would know how to ride this bike easily and safely. I have one. It is great!! The best for back road site seeing and commuting. This is the most sold vehicle ever worldwide and you don't get it. But that's okay. Thank you for you opinion anyway. Just keep in mind that any bike can "kill you". Don't blame a bike because you can not understand and adapt to the purpose for which it was so well designed. Try rev-matching the next time you ride something like this. It will smoothly go through all the gears. Fist gear was purposefully designed for quick take-offs from a dead stop. Quick being relative to the small displacement of a 125 cc engine. That is why it is slightly different from the other gears. It was designed to help you "survive" in most city traffic conditions, when stopped at a red light, by keeping up. Low end torque.

Just did battery changed today ... what a fka thru the plastic bit away too much fath.
