Lovely to see the enthusiasm, but just wondering if possible to improve this parade? To me, watching the video in Switzerland, it seems a bit sad. Mostly a few local enterprises using the parade to advertise their services, with those sitting inside the trucks wearing a Santa hat, waving to the crowd, having stuck a few bits of tinsel on the car - with children passively watching & being given a few bits of candy. All seems a bit impersonal, with the majority of children & their parents left watching from the sides, freezing in the cold. Wouldn't more participation by the children & their parents be great? Instead of just watching big trucks passing, why don’t the families or classes BUILD something themselves & push or pull it along (make sledges, reindeer, bells, crèche animals such as donkeys, etc.) or TAKE PART in the parade by playing musical instruments and/or by dressing up on the theme of Christmas (again, as animals for example), that is, INVOLVE lots of people really celebrating the Christmas theme instead of just observing a few trucks slowing driving past? Get rid of the big trucks and cars, and make it more participatory.
