Why is wvery youtube channel teaching 'growth' and marketing when they have 1 view on every video and no subs

Hi! That is certainly not the case with us, however, I would say that some people do need to start somewhere. 😊

You left out the most important tip of all! Dump that crappy premiere pro and learn Resolve!
@unitedwolvesproductions3 ай бұрын
That is the plan eventually. I used to use Vegas Pro for over 10 years and only recently moved to Premiere. I still use Resolve for color-grading quite a bit!

at 0:43 there is a bit of misunderstanding - mirrors in SLRS or DSLRS do not redirect the light from the lens to the sensor - they redirect it to the optical viewfinder. When you take a picture, or use the camera in "live view" or video mode, the mirror moves out of the way entirely and the light is direct straight from the lens to the sensor. "Mirrorless" cameras remove that mirror mechanism and always have a live view. Instead of an "optical" viewfinder they use that digital signal and have an "electronic" viewfinder (a small screen inside the eye-piece. There is *ZERO* difference in potential captured image quality between a DSLR and Mirrorless camera - they capture images and videos in exactly the same way - no captured image is ever reflected off of a mirror.. Also - most mirrorless cameras are actually more prone to overheating - because they are smaller and there is less room for heat to dissipate/escape from the sensor and processor. Additionally, Shutter speed is not how many times your shutter opens and closes every second. It is how fast it opens and closes per captured frame. If you have a shutter speed of 1/100 it does not mean the shutter goes off 100 times per second, but for each photo capture or frame of video the shutter is only open for 1/100th of a second. But I do give you high props for amazing delivery and editing!

I've seen DPs use an 85mm for interviews as well. Which I guess a 50mm gets close too on a super 35mm sensor.

I feel like the video title is holding back a great video being discovered by beginners. With a better title it would definitely reach the people who need to watch it. You do an amazing job explaining the basics for beginners

Thank you for your kind words and also thank you for the feedback. Greatly appreciated. 👍 Unfortunately, if we change the title now the algorithm might demote it but out of curiosity what would you have suggested?

@@unitedwolvesproductions Maybe something along the lines of "The Essentials for Filmography/Cinematography", "Everything beginners NEED to know about Filmphotography", "What you need to get started as a Filmographer/Cinematographer" etc. I personally clicked on the video to see what gear you use but didn't expect it to also be an introduction and tutorial guide video.

The Hobbit films sucked because they were an overly digital looking mess, alot of dodgy looking set extensions, soft rotoscoping and jarring compositing. Scenes that could've been shot on location ended up being shot on a soundstage under unnatural lighting setups.

The human brain (yes, the brain processes information that comes through the eye, so we see - and sense everything really - with our brain) needs atleast 24 frames oer second to see a fluid video and not just pictures that change fast. We can easily handle higher rates. For example KZbin works on 30 and 60 fps. Most gamers game on 144 or even 240 hz monitors and the same or higher fps. Hobbit looks unnatural because they fucked up the visual editing, not because of the damn framerates. By this logic every KZbin video would look unnatural.

Really like DDP but pulling for Sean since this is his first defense. I think if Sean wins we’re getting Sean vs Khamzat and Izzy vs Dricus. Whether the people agree with Khamzat getting it or not. Dana making that happen.
