What a heap of trash this mod was lol. Sorry dont mean it in a bad way of you made this, as I couldnt do better, but there was a mod Insaw which had stupidly difficult layouts and bosses, but cant remember the name of it.

Honestly,,, how can you be this good, I have been playing one good game per day every day now, all continues with 5 ship start, I can get to the very last side scroll boss on say 5 ships, I get 1ups, but I can not beat that boss, then I get to it on continues maybe 3 times out of the 6 I have, sometimes I have bad runs on that last side scroll stage, I'm playing on real hardware, crt, Jap system and Jap software cart, I will continue to practice.

So, I guess players have to go through that same suffering path Sonic follows, except the Doomsday Zone.

This run really made me realise how extensive of a level Starlight zone is considering how quickly I and most players just speed through it compared to the other levels past Green Hill. And you really mastered that entire zone
