The kind of bad guy loadout I'm going for is Salim Abu Aziz from True Lies played by the legendary Pakistani-British actor Art Malik. While I loved Arnold in that movie, I just could not hate Art's character even though he clearly is the bad guy. He's one of those bad guys that are a lot of fun to watch to the point where you just can't hate him. My bad guy kit pretty much looks identical to his except for one major difference: A red and white shemagh covering my face just for that nice icing on that bad guy cake. This is my second loadout as my first loadout is an all-black tactical kit that's a mix of PMC and SWAT. That one actually takes inspiration from my book character who takes inspiration from The Punisher and Filipino president Rodrigo Duterte. Edit: For the record, I do also have a black shemagh for my tactical kit which is draped around my neck since I already have a balaclava and helmet on my head.

Im newer to airsoft and im having trouble with the wind up mags and i wanted to know if this gun has one or if pretty much all ARs have them and if i have to deal with it.
@PortCityAirsoft15 күн бұрын
"Wind up mags" are high-capacity magazines or "Hi-caps". Most airsoft blasters come with one hicap mag. We recommend shopping around for midcap mags. They hold less ammo, but don't require winding. They provide an overall smoother experience. If you purchase this blaster from Novritsch, you can buy midcaps directly from his website or look for ASG AUG Midcaps online.

Great question! First thing to do would be to inspect it for rust or any other erosion or debris that may prevent proper function. Then, test everything out and make sure the blasters are functioning well. If you are using LiPos, make sure they aren't swollen. Aside from that, just give them a basic cleaning and everything should be ready to go. If you aren't already in our Discord server, consider joining! We have areas specifically dedicated to tech questions and trouble shooting.

great insight gentlemen. i know you guys know that despite how incredibly real and accurate things have gotten youre right they are toys. airsoft in any of its form except when used by first resaponders its a game to be playing. if youre not having fun and making it as fun as you can for new players-youre doing it WRONG!!! you should quit or that a 6 month break and re-evalute why you started in the first place and if after 6 months youre just as excited as you were your first time than get back in the game. if you have skills and can do something other than play you should try that or doing something that helps the sport you fell in love with but if you cant find any joy in mag dumping you bro in the face when he walks in the your house or just the sim[ple handling of a quality replica than your probably not going to ever enjoy it again. everybody needs a break and to do something completely different in and around something you love is so satisfying and try to do things to progress the hobby instead of crapping on it. its a game and sportsmanship is so much more important than winning. instead of judging your merit on number of kills try judging merit on how many kids you helped, how many parts did you donate to a less fortunate player you will enjoy the hobby even more and if you dont you suck and you should move to russia(and eat dicks) the point is having guys like you who educate, who help people realize whats is happening real-time in the industry is awesome. youre definately champions and im so glad to have learned from you both. rock on play hard and have fun. cheers

I think as far as getting an authentic bad guy look, you have a lot more options available to you than players that want to play as members of a national military. You can just mismatch/age your gear to look a bit rag tag/worn down, absolutely cover your face, avoid the most current top of the line equipment, and avoid wearing military uniforms. You can do just about what ever you want gear wise and still get that OpFor kind of look. I'd just avoid equipment that hasn't seen widespread military use (like stuff SOF uses) or equipment that isn't available to the civilian market for OpFor kits, but other than that I think everything is good to go. Then if you want to go the bad guy mercenary route, you can use anything you want with no limits and it'd make sense. Just in that case just remove the mask, change the base layer clothing to gucci tacticool stuff versus the OpFor ragtag look, and again avoid military uniforms. Those green tactical pants and black northface jacket with the ski mask off, some low cut modern tactical shoes, and a plate carrier with modern military gear could absolutely pass for some type of merc I think.👍
@PortCityAirsoft2 ай бұрын
@@CasvalSVER The mercenary look can go a bunch of different directions. There's the Private Military/contractor look with the more modern equipment, or you could get a little more "action movie" with it and lean into some more dramatic looking gear for that Bounty Hunter vibe. Either way, "Bad Guy" kits are our favorite because they're so fun and unique, since you don't have to follow conventional loadout rules.
@CasvalSVER2 ай бұрын
@@PortCityAirsoft Yep exactly. I'm thinking of starting an OpFor group where I live, there's so many groups kitted up as cops, swat, special forces, US infantry, even seen a secret service themed group here, but not really any bad guy groups to play against them. I should fix that.

So, let me get this straight here: this Novritsch Steyr-AUG is like my Jing Gong Steyr-AUG, plus a programmable mosfet. But, I turned my Jing Gong Steyr into a single-shot DMR, by simply removing the copper strip from the V3 gearbox exterior trigger unit, which normally closed the continuous fire circuit. Then, I added a cheap and simple mosfet as I do that to all of my AEG rifles. How exactly is Novritsch doing something new here, or, was it not supposed to be anything innovative in the first place?
@PortCityAirsoft2 ай бұрын
Offering high performance products with no need for modification is what the video is about. As people who do tech work and upgrade our own blaster, we understand that these things can be accomplished after market. However, companies should realize that their products aren't even made to the standard that players want. Novritsch's whole brand is about making products that perform well out of the box, and that's a big deal. So, when he produces a blaster that provides impressive performance out of the box, we feel like that is worth sharing.

Improved motor better externals better barrel better HopUp unit
@Guido_XL2 ай бұрын
@@marv151 The motor is the least of my concerns when I start to upgrade, or, at least, it doesn't have the highest priority. I also replaced the hopup-unit, the cylinder, the piston, the nozzle, and even the entire V3 gearbox (it wasn't quick spring change yet) in my Jing Gong Steyr-AUG to turn it into something reliable and well performing. The barrel? I did not yet experience any need for me to replace that right away, but it may become some item on the agenda one day. Okay, I get that the motor may be more of an issue in case of a fast rate of fire, combined with gears and piston-teeth that can handle the torque. I wanted a nice DMR, and that's what I got after the upgrades. If Novritsch delivers this out of the box, then I'm not complaining. I'm just a tinkerer who likes to do the upgrading by himself.
@marv1512 ай бұрын
@@Guido_XL This is fair and good for people who are able to tinker like you. You can definitely argue for $350 that what you get out of box is comparable and a pretty good dead to the parts and labor for upgrading.
@Guido_XL2 ай бұрын
@@marv151 Still, buying an AEG-rifle that has been meticulously crafted so as to give the user a nice experience out of the box, does not prevent the user from having to deal with replacements of parts that become worn down. The spur gear may lose a tooth, for instance (that happened to me once). The piston's teeth will suffer from wear. There comes a time that you want to open up your AEG and do some maintenance. Of course, you can outsource this task. I'm not saying that not doing it yourself is somehow a bad thing. All I'm saying here is that awareness of the details of your AEG can be a natural part of your airsoft experience in the long run.

I like you guys comfortable to hear your podcast👍🏻 but about gbbrs you dont know what you are talking about, green gas gbbrs and pistols from good brands work flawlessly if you know how to fill the mags properly and are willing to tune it in. I mean 90% of people that buy an AEG have to upgrade it some way or another out of the box, gbbrs you also have to do some small things to make it good. At least that my opinion. A lot have changed in the gbbr scene since it started..
@PortCityAirsoft2 ай бұрын
What we are referring more to is that green gas as a fuel source, and the mags are usually the problem. Inconsistency in weather changes causes the gas to be less effective and the o-rings to not hold their seal. I've used my Novritsch SSP1 for years and love it, but sometimes the mags just leak for seemingly no reason. Then, a week later they randomly work again.
