Thank you for the rant I was not aware of the new developments. I also do not wish to purchase from companies supporting AI art as there is no ethical way to employ it. It was all trained on intellectual property it had no right to use. Unfortunately I bought a few designs from Artecy before discovering they have a small selection of AI charts. What HAED is doing is wrong. Making you pay to pay is absurd! Instead of crazy I've been using wild or bonkers. Hope that helps! ❤️❤️❤️

as always-incredible stitching! I was hoping that I could find the cicada pattern, it's stunning! Can't wait-hopefully it'll be released and I can purchase it eventually! :) I was working on catching up on my postcrossing and decided to catch up on floss tube! I know you'll appreciate that comment! :) As for you rant, I've already expressed my thunks on it all and I totally agree. This past weekend, I had the pleasure of meeting one of the artists that is no longer with HAED. I won't kiss and tell, but I will say that the artist community is deeply saddened by the turn that has been taken by HAED and that unfortunately for us stitchers, we're going to be seeing a lot more of them 'just ship' because of AI and the bs that is going along with it. I purchased from another full coverage company last week-INCREDIBLE service-above and beyond what I could have imagined. And honestly, my purchases with HAED will probably be dwindling down to none as I now know where several of the artists that we all love have went to and why they have decided to do so. Love the rant! I really try to avoid AI artwork but I am finding it impossible to find FC designers that don’t have any in their shop. It’s not enough to see if there is an artist-you need to check that the artwork itself has a ©️. The only project I have ufo’ed on the past few years is one that I fell for because it looked like there was an artist. When I searched artist and found the artwork separate from the xstich company, I saw they stated it was ai. So the video is almost done and still no Stitches!😂 This cat lady needs her fix. -Debbie 🦉🐊

There have been many times over the years that I have questioned business decisions. I wish I had taken a screenshot and saved it, but back in the day when they were on the Yahoo boards, I suggested Ciro Marchetti when they were asking for artist recommendations. I was told essentially no, that his style didn’t fit them and they weren’t interested.

That blue fabric for Courage is gorgeous😮. I hate what HAED is doing. It’s just going to get worse.

Yeah you for another finish! Regarding your fabric which shrank, you would still have the same amount of holes for stitching just that your count per inch would be smaller. Beautiful projects Mandy!

I think I found the guys account on Instagram. So cute.. I have 4 kittens the momma has dropped off on my back patio. I guess she knew I was the lady who feeds the cats... what's 4 more till the 6 adult cats that come by.. one kitty is so cute it's black and white and runs to me when I put the food dishes down. I got to pet it today. Can't take them in. I have 3 inside cats. So, I will find homes for them.
