My god This might be my favourite depiction of Hermes ever Your portrayal of him gave him a completely new layer of earnestness and humanity to him, he's genuinely worried for Ody, and he wants him to get home, which speaks to the fact that Ody's literally related to him But beyond that, I love that Hermes's not even a trickster in this, he's still eccentric and extra as hell, but he knows what's inevitably lying ahead, and the "dangers" he speaks of isn't the small fries Ody encounters on his journey, and he's just hoping that maybe MAYBE Poseidon'll take mercy on Ody and let him go on, because there's no realistic way Ody could survive going up against Poseidon Hermes's trying his best to take Ody as far as he can, as safe as he can, but the rest he has to do on his own, and his advice reflect that The hug was such a unique touch but it fits right in, of course seeing the windbag that took away 600 of his friends Ody would get emotional, he's probably scared and feeling guilty as hell, but he has to press on, he has a family to get home to, and that's exactly what Hermes tells him, always saying the right things I love how deep their connection goes in this animatic, really expresses "old friend", "trusted companion" than just a mischievous god messing with humans for fun I cannot believe this is basically your first full animation on this channel, your style is so expressive and dynamic ! This completely blew me away, thank you for giving me the pleasure of watching it

I think your animatic of Dangerous might honestly be my favorite. There are just so many little details you included that I love so goddamn much: the owl pin Hermes gives Odysseus, Hermes destroying his raft but giving him a boat, and of course my favorite part at 2:12 Hermes protecting Odysseus from the Harpies. The last one is particularly sweet and just makes me smile every time I see it.

I seriously love this piece/your portrayal of the scene so much. Really awesome dynamic poses, and despite it being an animatic the camera movement and cadence of the key frames really gives the characters life. Particular shoutout to the way you drew Antinous; his stance is on point, the tabletop speech is a really cool and fitting way to show the scene. Bravo!

Dude this is easily the best animation I've seen for Epic. That shot when it cuts to Antinous cutting a piece of bread while talking 'bout cutting the prince is so perfect. Idk how many people worked on this, but you the director clearly had a vision, and it looks awesome.
