Great vid, I wonder how crowded it gets now. First time I went in the middle of summer 2017, my group was the only one at Nels the entire time we were there. Returned 2021 and around the same time it was insanely crowded that people starting to park beyond the designated spot. Power of social media is insane!

This makes me incredibly nostalgic. My favourite hike in the park is mount st Patrick. I think it's also the least popular, I've never seen any humans on it, and typically only wolves tracks in the mud. If you go to San jo, the second beach, if you follow the trail up from the water source it leads to the top, maybe 3k and it's quite easy. Cell signal from the top of the hill too

I live on V.I and have been fortunate enough to do this hike 4 times; planning the 5th for 2025. On the 1st trip i made sure to leave clean change of clothes, water and a congratulatory beer for my return.

How fun! One of the best videos of this area I have seen (planning travel to VI this summer). My husband and I were there for our honeymoon back in 2011 so I am sure a lot has changed in the area since then.
